We have talent to be 8-4 or better.

Last year we had coordinators who flailed around and got us beat in the second half of games. Hopefully, we see an improvement this year. I blame the late year collapse on the OC/DC. No more third and 1 'hail Marys' with a great stable of RBs, or 'zone baby, zone!' when you have man-to-man personnel.

I agree with this. Also, nobody ever really mentions the fact that a few of those losses down the stretch were without our starting QB. I know we should have back-ups ready and those games were very winnable, but all other things completely equal, if Bo Nix doesn't get injured and is available against South Carolina and Alabama, we win both those games and go 8-4.

I actually think the schedule sets up nice for us this year. I think most people would agree that UGA and Alabama are tough games to win no matter where they, so I believe it is more important to have LSU, Texas A&M, and Penn State at home this year. We lost 2 out of 3 of those games last year. If we can flip that 2 out of 3 wins this year, and get a little more consistency from QB play I think 8 or 9 wins is very attainable this year.

There is no doubt that those first 5 games, and getting off to a hot start is very important, not only for this season, but for recruiting and and the possible future of Harsin. I'm hoping for 5-0, but think it ultimately ends up being 4-1.
