I might be able to say the same to you. If you "claim" to know the game, you know how your Vols acted like pure trash. Like the OP said...........pull that shite in pro ball and you will be hitting the deck early and often.

I do think we take it a touch too far and I wish we would tone it down a touch especially because it certainly doesn’t help to have people suspended during a critical series but you know what? if we continue to be really good I’m gonna defend and support whatever way they go about it because I’m a fan. I’m a fan that wants to win, that’s all that matters. If we lose in super regionals again next year because we have people suspending from being kicked out of a game then you will see the fanbase push back on it because it’s hurting our ability to win. As for now we continue to support them and hope they have a better understanding of the line not to cross.

Every fanbase wants to act like they are so classy but I remember Auburn fans laughing at a hurt Aaron Murray while Nick Fairley danced, Florida praise Urban Meyer and the “class acts” he had on those teams, Ole Miss fans laugh when Kiffin mocks others, Arky fans support Petrino and there’s probably a million other cases that I can’t think of right now.

We all would love to win in a classy way but when you are winning you will defend your team no matter what. Every fanbase is the same. I can handle the making fun of us losing but the whole acting like youre holier than thou is complete horse$h1+ so I don’t really care what you think. You’d defend them if it was your team too

He makes some valid points……about football. College, pros….any level of football is a testosterone game. Thus the personal foul, excessive celebration and taunting penalties. Football even gets it!

Don’t conflate baseball with football. Baseball is completely different!

Happy Gilmore’s plot line was on a lack of decorum in a sport that for centuries is played a certain way.

You had a great team Vol fans! If anyone is saying anything to the contrary, they are just jealous!

Clean up the thug act and you will be respected as much as you are feared!

Vitello crossed the line when he ran into the ump. Had no issues with UTenn until then. Was kinda pulling for them. Lost me on that.

So 14 years?

What ages were you?

If you'd played in college, you would have said you played in college.

You’re talking to a fan base from a state that invented the tooth brush. If invented anywhere else it would be called teeth brush.

This aint pro ball pussy. I'm a braves fan as well and played my entire life but when it comes down to it....i prefer watching college football or combat sports on tv.

I also played with a chip on my shoulder growing up and always thought of baseball as being a great sport to play but also one that was a bit too full of itself at the competitive level. So it was actually nice to see a baseball team buck the trend and pull these kind of antics. Our kids have fun out there and kick arse.

The pitching coach getting himself suspended over nothing first game of our most important series is my only issue and that starts at top. That is just plain retarded and likely lost us that third game. Baseball early series games are kind of like early rounds in boxing. It's a straight up chess match with how you use your pitchers especially.

But Vitello will learn from this and we will be back stronger than ever.

I had a lot of fun watching my gorilla vols this year and could care less what you baseball etiquette pussies think.

I hope we come back even more ruthless acting towards you safe spacers next year. I just hope we do it much more strategically this next season. Anderson should be on the hot seat for this imo. Not enough room for two hotheaded coaches in one dugout imo.

he’ll just be the baseball version of Bobby Knight

Bobby Knight had already won 2 national championships at Vitello’s age. That’s the difference. I don’t think there is as much of a problem with Vitello if he backs it up.

Bobby Knight won his first National Championship in his 11th season as a Head Coach at the age of 36. He didn't make the NCAA tournament until his 8th season as a HC. Vitello just finished his 5th season. After Knight's 5th season, his best finish was 3rd in the NIT.

Princess it’s your gay coach and your crappy team against the world your team is a laughing stock across the nation EVERY major national show ripped your shitty team to shreds. Tennessee will be a shitty Florida state that’s it. A great team wins the CWS a good team makes it to Omaha neither of our teams were good enough. Look at the teams you lost too where are they? at home just like you. You had a good season but not good enough. I saw signs of ignorance of your gay coach when he is throwing his ace on a damn wed game those games do not matter when it’s shite u. Win your Conf your in a regional win your regional super then guess what Omaha. You have a poorly coached team. Deal with it your university can’t hire winners Rick barns is a great example he is a nice guy but can’t get over the hump. Football is self explanatory you stink at everything else. Just enjoy the limelight you got from all the national press Monday as the biggest choke fest ever. Oh if you are a braves fan Bobby Cox that’s wahatyou should think of when you see coach v both choke .
