More physicality than Jabari, less finesse/touch. Similar size. Broader shoulders/frame.
I think Traore is also more dynamic than Jabari

Definitely a more versatile player than Jabari.

It is chatter on Tevin Brown. As of now, he would be a solid take.

How mad will we be when he chooses NBA G League?

Some chatter from Elijah Fisher camp for reclass 2023 to 2022.

Desmond Cambridge (brother of Devan) is in the portal. Averaged 16.5 ppg at Nevada. Shot 37% from three. 6’4 combo guard

I can't deal with two Cambridges

They can go play together somewhere else

Devan is the man. He single handedly willed us to a couple wins on the road

If the 3PT% didn’t tell you already he’s a completely different type player. Major Samir vibes. His highlights suggest he would have been a nice player to have around this year but I still think there will be better guys out there for us at the 3 spot

Auburn the favorite?
I would bank on Auburn and Bruce Pearl here. The Tigers were viewed as the “runner-up” to land Traore’s commitment the first time around and there is a real need for a skilled big with the presumed departure of Jabari Smith and Walker Kessler.
Traore also took a secret visit to Auburn last week, according to Jeffrey Lee. More on that here.
Here is what Traore had to say about the Auburn Tigers in a recent interview with Auburn Live’s Jeffrey Lee prior to his commitment to LSU:
“I talk to Coach Bruce Pearl and Coach Wes a lot,” Traore said. “Auburn is a great school and I really like the coaches. I think it would be a great fit…I have watched Auburn and Jabari Smith. They’ve been doing great and I really like the way they use Jabari with posting up and isolation. I think I could be that guy who could be able to go in and do the same.”

But most of the time it is 1 athletic play and some rebounds. Pretty much anything he does away from the basketball rim kinda sucks now.

I agree. But I think he has a place on this team. Maybe not as a starter, but something. He’s earned that.

I think the intangible lift of DC oops are worth something (seriously)

One bad game and Jabari goes from one of our goat’s to name a player on Lebo or Barbee’s teams

Nate King just put up a a gif ratatouille (I believe, never seen the movie). The hint being the movie is based in France.. Traore is French. I think word might have come in tonight..

I do too (especially at home) but man if he could just shoot 30% from 3 it would help the team so much

Maybe this will help. Jabari is the best AU player of my lifetime.
But Traore is a more versatile offensive basketball player.
