After seeing how boosters have gone after Harsin, who would be willing to take the AU job?

I’ll preface this by saying I think Auburn is a great place. I - myself - spent a year as a biology major there. It’s a fun college town for students and a nice place to live for grownups.

That said, this booster witch hunt is absolutely crazy. How can it possibly not be seen as a toxic job?

What coach of any worth would think he would match what Harsin did this year? Coaches egos are not defending Harsin at this point.

Finebaum and a guest he had on seemed to imply yesterday that one of Freeze and Jeff Grimes would definitely take it, and that there was a lot more interest than alarmist fans and message boards would have you believe.

A coach with the smell of desperation and possible the taint of past infractions.

It’ll be Freeze and then we will have a year free of Tuscaloosa posts.

Didn't the boosters want Kevin Steele when they hired Harsin anyhow?

Right now Gus is out there sitting on a beach counting his money while drinking a Mai Tai watching the shite show.

Obvious someone with a blemished record. Auburn is the college version of Australia: a penal colony

Sounds like we got a toxic coach for our toxic job

quote:

Auburn didn’t make Tamarrian Parker’s top 5. 4* Phenix City croot. “Auburn may have been his favorite this fall, but not visiting his school until the last day of the contact period didn't leave a good impression with him or his two talented teammates...”

Doesn't show up for a Bo Jackson event, doesn't show up at a GA high school coaches event, and doesn't show up at the high school of a local recruit?

I'm not saying this whole thing makes Auburn look great or even neutral at all, but good lord people need to start seriously criticizing Harsin for getting himself in this situation in the first place more.

Fake News::: Do not believe everything said on message boards, social media and so called journalist.

Auburn received complaints, Auburn investigated complaints (As they are required to do). This was not booster doing this (They may have fanned the flames). I still think it is 60-40 that we move on.

BOOSTERS HAVE NOT GONE AFTER HARSIN. I realize that is the popular narrative, but the truth is that there have been complaints raised by current and former employees that the university had to look into. They found them to be credible when they did. Now the question is what do they do?

There is no current vaccination requirement. That said, the lack of leadership shown by Harsin on the topic is pathetic.

Why did Auburn get rid of Gus? He did a pretty good job. It’s Auburn for crying out loud. Very overrated job in my opinion with unrealistic expectations.
