Rivals bro Mike Farrell dropping a bomb on Arch Manning on Jboy’s new show.

quote:

If his name was Arch Smith, I think he'd be a high three-star quarterback," Farrell said on Crain & Company. "He plays a very low level of competition. He hasn't progressed. He had a really good freshman season. I wouldn't say regression, but he hasn't progressed. When he's had to step up against other competition, especially in the playoff game where he looked awful, it just hasn't translated."

I said the same thing. Arch plays competition in high school my son’s Pop Warner team would beat.

CB’s coming in for 4* TE Jelani Thurman to Ohio State and 4* WR Khai Prean to LSU.

Competition doesn’t matter.

Peyton and Eli played at that high school as well.

I think Arch will be fine. He’s got a lot of hater fuel to motivate him if he needs it.

I can’t say I’ve seen a single snap from his highlight film, much less gametape, and I strongly suspected his name factored into the hype.

In fairness to this one after English committed we basically stopped talking to him. I think JLee touched base with him recently and he said it had been about a month since he heard from Auburn.

Now if you're asking why a WR desperate team is passing on WRs that are takes at LSU.. well I don't have an answer for that lol.

It might not, but some kids look amazing in smaller classification schools that wouldn’t even start at bigger schools.

If true, that says it all doesn’t it? I don’t get any sense of urgency around these coaches and their recruiting efforts. BCW better bring the ruckus.

Big Cat weekend will more then likely bring us Amon and possibly Air Noland. ‘24 recruits. So with the exception of a few players and current commitments it seems like a glorified junior weekend

I genuinely believe these coaches won’t be here in 2024 so these commits don’t matter.

Sigh. I am starting to look forward to a proctology appointment more than recruiting news.

Zombie coaching staff just waiting on head shots to end the suffering.

I didn't think we'd have a more lame duck coach than 2020 Malzahn but here we are.

Gonna start on the proctology title and work backwards

Proctology -
Proctology is the medical specialty that focuses on diseases of the colon, rectum and anus.

Our recruiting is anus right now.

We might get Sterling Dixon at BCW as well. Two commits were hinted at this week and JLee said they weren't Noland but both '24.
