Right. Well I’m back on board with keeping this thread mostly safe from Harsin discussion.

sorry man, frustration got to me. Just hope at the very least we can figure out a way to climb into the mix for this in state talent. Any word on Etheridge, is he staying or going? Ask just because he is the recruiting coordinator. Any idea who would get that title if he did go to UGA?

No chance Harsin and his crew will be successful recruiting with all of this going on. Auburn is 1000x more fricked if he stays, he’s a lame duck head coach with very little fan support and no administrative support. Not to mention he’s too arrogant to chance and try to operate within the SEC.

Jonesy, of the 77 listed on scholly, do the "covid super seniors" actually count against the 85 limit? If not then that means we have a boatload of schollys, okay 10 or 12 left, thats if no more leave, thats scary light.

I think its time to do a Dick Vermiel Philly routine and have some open tryouts for scholly and NIL money, particularly for the OL.

Pretty sure he’s got a lot of fan fan support. 99% of auburn fans aren’t on this board. If the admin is truly getting behind him, it’s worth seeing what he can do.

It's what he can't do that's the problem.

I’m honestly losing interest in this thread. I’m not quitting or anything and it’ll pick back up but it’s these posts that are a drag on real discussion. I’m checked out for now.

It’s a dead period anyway.

Well, I did ask early if we could stay on topic... I'll volunteer to help delete all the off-topic crap so we can stick to recruiting.

It would be really easy if we just banned a few people from this thread that constantly ruin every other thread with the crap.

Not trying to single anyone out but it would be nice to stay on topic here. There are plenty of other threads for the bullshite.

WDE!!!

My 77 include (2) guys that might be on scholarship and also includes (7) super seniors.

There are 17 seniors including the super seniors so we’re fine if we sign a full class + transfers in 2023. We’re in bad shape if we do anything less.

Most SEC schools stress and do shady shite to get under 85. You never want to be below that by 10. Most NCAA sanctions don’t even restrict you that much

Can guys transfer in after their current teams spring practice and play next year? Could we expect to get a few of them if so?

Yep, that will likely be the next wave of guys coming and going.

Lets look on the bright side, looking at our program, would you trade who we picked up in the portal for who we lost, I would.

Look at DL, devastated right, lost what six players or more, yet Jones had more tackles by himself at Oregon last season than all the aforementioned combined and we freed up half a dozen spots.

And sounds like the attitude adjustment was sorely needed. When I was at Auburn Dye kicked one of our best DL off the team within weeks of joining the team,as well as many others, and the ones who wanted to have a team were grateful and it showed on the field.

Now lets get a structure in place for NIL and move on to a banner 2023 recruiting bonanza.

Tre Donaldson confirmed that he’s 100% basketball. Gonna remove him from the football roster

No surprise. Does that mean he sticks with football scholarship?

Nope that’s why I removed him. He’s not intending to play football so he won’t count toward those numbers

Pearl gets what he wants right now.

That’s a bummer he cannot be stashed on football scholarship anyway.. Could have sworn in the past the ncaa only cared about stacking football players on other rosters

That will bump us down to 21st in recruiting rankings
