Dont worry Mizzou will never have to contend with a Championship game. Much of the lead up was At Monument circle outdoors, and they cancelled several events for cold leading up to the game.

Aren’t you also complaining about next year’s chosen venue?

It usually isn't THAT cold. Winter has actually been pretty mild this year up until last week (40s-50s). The 10F is more of a freak accident than anything
I will say that Indy needs more restaurants and I'm surprised they don't have them considering they've hosted events like this before. There were several vacant dining spaces in the mall so could be a recent thing, idk. PF Changs should never be reservation only until 8pm though

California is the most locked down state, cool stadium but two sec/eastern teams travelling to la is expensive for the fans.
Kind of dumb for a sport we doninate. Pac12 is years away from having been relevant.

Well reasoned. They got a super bowl because the built a really nice stadium. Locals say they never ooen the roof so thats funny.
I am not even a covid fear mongerer but they forced standing room only in the restuarants and bars which is not good.
I enjoy the Indy 500 and. May is much better for indy.

Yeah, I caught the US Grand Prix there twice in the early 2000s, and it was pretty amazing in late September.

Not very vacation like in the winter.
I was making a list of my future vacation spots. Indianapolis somehow didn't make it.
My wife and I have a month long trip to Switzerland planned for December this year. Throw an extra coat on and drive on. Going to the Christmas markets!

There and New York. that's why all their politicians are going down to Florida to party in crowded restaurants and bars without masks. So they don't have to adhere to the mandates they force on everybody else.
Sorry for the political post. I am duly ashamed.....somewhat.

Switzerland is top of my list, the cold is worth it there. Most beautiful place on Earth.
We are headed to West Yellowstone to snowmobile but again, you can dress appropriately vs piling into a stadium in 5 layers.

Thats florida, you have been in the sec long enough to know that.

You sound like a complete pussy. Who whines about the weather for an indoor game after their school wins their first title in four decades?
Congrats to the other dawgs who aren’t weak pussies! Actually pretty happy for y’all, looking forward to seeing how both teams respond.

I enjoyed the city. To be fair..it was warmer in Anchorage.
-The gauged hotel rooms..Fairfield’s like 20 miles away $600 a night. IMO bids should set some max to protect fan bases that only have one week to book and plan. Used points downtown or room would have been $1,100 a night.
-it wasn’t that bad watching the concerts and beer stayed cold. They missed millions of revenue bc bars were slammed and under staffed…and everybody was trying to be inside obv.
-stadium was great. Bathrooms/food no lines. Easy to get in. Better acoustics than most indoor arenas. Close to most of hotels. Easy walk.
-Not enough flights in. Cincinnati and Louisville got some bonus business and rooms.
