Roger McCreary is probably the top player in the draft at his position - CB.

He is one of the most talented and hardest working kids on the team.

We are playing in the Birmingham Bowl for nothing more than a few extra days of practice.

Not hard to understand his decision.

I hear a UGA player is sitting out their bowl, too.

Some kid named Anderson? Not sure on the reason tho.

Trolling your rival without any more details than he posted (or links - so I had no idea what he was talking about) might seem stupid, but it is kinda fun any time of the day

Another first, sitting out a bowl game when you are a first round pick.

Who would of thunk it?

Next thing you know, multiple players will sit out if most bowl games.

I hope this does not catch on in college football. I need to see those student-athletes try their best to win a bowl game.

I think Roger Rabbit getting drafted early and setting up his future is more important than the Birmingham Bowl.

Good for him. I’m not mad.

Shouldn't have channeled their inner Falcons and blown the moo u, usc and iron bowl, and they'd be playing on New Years Day and not 12/28 in fricking Birmingham. Go get your money dude.

Yep, unless it’s for a championship, guys sitting is not a bad thing. You get real game reps with the person that will replace them the following year. I think that means a lot.

He’s definitely flying up draft boards. But there are 3-4 corners still above him on mock drafts.

His game won't work in the NFL. Those Auburn paid refs let him get away with murder on receivers. NFL refs will be calling holding and pass interference all day long on McCreary.
