I'm curious why so many think this is the destruction of college football.

Your allegiance is to your school - first and last. I would think most fans could care less who it is wearing that uniform.

Cam Newton is one of the most revered icons in Auburn sports history - care to remind us how long he spent at the school?

If your fandom hinges on how successful the team is, then you're not really a fan are you? Whether guys are transferring in or out at record clips shouldn't impact how hard you root for the team - it might just impact whose jersey you buy (if you do that kind of thing).

I will admit I was skeptical with guys signing pretty large deals before the season, but Bryce Young didn't seem phased by it, and the amount of flops this year by "big time" players like Rattler, DJ Ugladfdaf, Nix, etc. will soften the demand as the sport moves forward. Or it won't, and a new normal will emerge. Either way, it sounds like some need to reassess what college football is to you and chill out.

Because people are afraid of change. I’m sure many thought the forward pass would ruin football back in the day

As people get older, I think they're interest diminishes. The sport is pretty ridiculous now. Has been for a while. People go on to other things to invest their time and energy into. Maybe that's just me, maybe that's how most people are.. I don't know. But I don't like seeing something that I used to love become something different. Fans will adapt to the new systems within the sport. I just don't care to and will not be the fan I once was and maybe there a more reasons for that than just these new changes.

He was referred to at the time as a hired mule. There's a reason for that.

Again, for the 3rd time this has nothing to do with Auburn, and I'm not the kind of person to buy a college football jersey. I have a few AU t-shirts though.

Give it a few more years.
