Not only Jabari but all the players on this specific team need to be honored as their own team.
Years past were great and should be honored but judging each seasons team compared to a red hot final 4 run isn't fair to some teams that could be really really good.

Is Stretch setting up for a redshirt or transfer after the season, Unless he is just absolutely needed?
He's only played in 2 games for 3 minutes total.
I love Stretch but interesting that he is getting no playing time even when we empty the bench... or is his injured in some way?

Nice, glad this got made. It’s been years now since 2019 and that thread obviously lost its magic after/during COVID.

I endorse this thread. And maybe stretch just loves auburn but he will never be a significant contributor for AU hoops. He was the final recruit of that tier ya know

Starting a basketball thread jinxed my own son's JV game. We were 8-0 and now 8-1. We had won every game by 20 until Tuesday we won by 3 and then lost big tonight. We have 4 decent bigs but only one can really get after it on offense and 1 that is really good on defense and blocks a lot of shots and has some good put backs on rebounds. We are guard heavy and been shooting lights out all year, tonight we were cold from 3 and had a few turnovers.

Meh, anything worth doing is worth doing well.
And we a basketball school... so why have just one thread?

I'm against this thread only because our rise as a program began with the pinned one and I want to keep the good juju going

So big news!!!
Pearl is ditching the suit and tie for good!
He said why put on a button up shirt, button the collar around your neck, wrap a tie around it real tight, put on a coat over all that, then sweat in it for 2 hours. Barbaric.
It's slacks and a coaching shirt the rest of the way he said.

I always thought it was goofy for coaches to dress in suits while the team is in shorts and tank tops anyway. Bruce the trailblazer. However I know he’s not the first to ditch the suit he might be the first thst always wore a suit to ditch it.
