Malzahn will make it through the year, but Lashlee wont. Gus will get the chance to fix it, but only one.

This year was his chance to fix it. Instead he doubled down on stupid and brought in a tiny qb who cannot throw the football

The day we hire a POS like Briles is the day I stop following the football team.

I would hope most fans put their school over W-L record of a football team.

An OC wouldn't have any control of that sort of thing anyway. I agree Briles as HC would be an issue, but I wouldn't mind him as OC.

(Not that it will ever happen).

Bring in Briles as an offensive consultant. Take a 3-4 month PR hit. Fire Lashlee, make Briles OC, get Jarrett....Profit????

I like the advisor role for Briles. But I am not really sure I want that type of baggage for Auburn. I love football, but I would rather be MS St., than corrupt our image.

With that said, having someone that is willing to turn a blind eye may help recruiting these days.

I know very little about the Briles investigation but this article makes it seem like his role has been greatly exaggerated.

We are hiring Briles' son next year as OC, huge raise for him. He will bring Stidham with him. Gus will finally turn over the offense.
