Some models now show it coming up the AL/GA border.

ETA: Storm is moving slower than I thought, no risk, carry on

Correct, I just wondered if they would leave town and take all support team with them (State Troopers, etc) if the storm was bearing down.

Happy Monday to you friend.

I just remember when Opal came through and tore the town up. Maybe oranges and apples.

Going to be around the south end of Florida around Saturday.. There are models brining it up the middle of Florida and some models bringing it a tad bit more west then truing back into the west coast of Florida and ridding the edge north.

There are also a few models that show it coming in the gulf and going north towards the panhandle. But not many right now

Wait another day and there will be some good info on Irma. No matter what, its going to be a bitch

If it is moving that slowly shouldn't be a concern for this week then.

Carry on.

I remember Ivan coming through in 04 as a kid and having to listen to the LSU game on the radio because our power was out. Not having power was stressful but beating LSU made it all better.

Wind won't hurt auburn's offense. They're not throwing down field anyways.

A lot of people that were there for opal (sp?) in 94 or 95 still talk about it being bad.

But other than that, its just rain.

I was there for Opal in 1995 and it was pretty fricking bad.

Almost every large tree in front of Samford Hall was uprooted and laying on the ground.
