Lack of player development, questionable hires, questionable decision making....

I'm sure old Jay has a short list tucked away.....

We know one thing...whoever it is MUST have Auburn ties...either a former assistant coach or alumni.
My guess is Kodi Burns becomes the new coach.

The only coaches with higher win% than Gus in past 100 yr Auburn history is Dye, Bowden and Mike Donahue
Let's pump the brakes Dale Earnhardt

It's amazing how the minute bad news hits certain posters emerge to melt. It's like clockwork

Tom Herman. And whenever recruits OV, the strippers will be called Herman's Whores.

just keeping it real.... CGM is trending downwards quickly... This year will determine his future; another disappointing season will hamper future recruiting efforts and snowball downhill quickly... he will need to be #1,#2, or #3 in the SECW to salvage his AU job

Gus is fine. One bad kid gets gone and all the sudden we are in a search for a new coach. Auburn fans never disappoint.
If the reports are true, he did the right thing. I can only imagine he gave Jovon plenty of chances and he failed. So, he goes. Easy choice. Right choice
Nothing that happened yesterday has anything to do with player development or coaching skills. He did what most good coaches would have done.
And if anything, this will help us with RB recruiting. Plenty of opportunities to play now.
Juno kids are risks. Jovon and his drama have been a pain since we started recruiting him. He was a big risk that did not pan out. Not Gus's fault

No SECW #4 has finished below .500 SEC and less than 8 wins If Gus goes 8-5 with a 4-4 record in conference he doesn't get fired.
Historically Auburn coaches don't do better than that

No he doesn't. I think he'll need to show a team that is trending up from last year, and can compete with other top teams in the conference, not necessarily beat them, just stay competitive.
It's amazing that people are melting this much over a running back being kicked off the team.

Crazy to see a #BasketballSchool freak out this much over off season football processing.
Glad to know our fans are taking our off season sport seriously

How do we orchestrate a purge of all these pussies that have found their way to our board?

Auburn won 7 games last year. Those 7 wins consisted of:
Louisville
Jacksonville St.
San Jose State
Kentucky
TamU
Idaho
Memphis
Based on your statement we need to trend upward which would consist of 8 wins. That means we're pretty much going to have to beat one of LSU, UGA, or Bama. That or run the table with Moo St, Arky, Ole Miss, and TAMU.
The more likely scenario given our qb situation is we finish around 6 wins. So the last 3 seasons would be 8 wins, 7 wins, and 6 wins.

I was here before any of you... I'm not going anywhere... If you cant see the evidence before you there is no hope. This fall will be glorious or utter hell, I really cant stomach both a Trump loss and AU 7-6 or less season...

Don't be so hard on them. Most of them are very good posters. Just a little bent over Jovon. I get it but its like a fight with your wife. Once its over, the worst thing you can do is keep bringing it up.
Let it go and move on. Don't rebuild the castle over one bad brick

Because he is the only real talent we had on O. Gus is supposed to be a guru, yet the qbs are a shitshow, the OL is mostly Sunbelt level talent, and the most talented WRs we have are true freshman Gus will not play much due to his senioritis.
