I don't know what else to call it. We stopped them early in the game, then ran into the punter. I think that ended with FSU scoring the first 3 points. Failed to stop an obvious fake punt, they score a TD. We miss a chip shot field goal, costs us 3 points. Multiple dropped kicks. Give up a 100 yard kick return for a TD.

I started to re-watch last night, but decided against it. I don't have the energy or desire to pour salt in that wound yet. I will rewatch in a couple weeks though.

Special team miscues led to at least 14 to 17 FSU points, and it cost us another 3. That's half their points!! The fake punt also gave them a lot of momentum going into the half. Without special teams shitting the bed, it's not even a ballgame at the end.

On my end, I have found it better not to try and rationalize it. I have just decided to not do that. To be honest, I don't even know the stats of the game. I just know the final score and once we left 10 points on the field early, I had a bad feeling about the game

I will give it to Jimbo, the fake was the call of the year. It won him a crystal val

I am in next year mode. It somehow helps me.

And it was so obvious what was coming too...if it was a "Oh my God, that took some balls" type call, it wouldn't hurt as bad. But my 4 year old daughter could have told you it was gonna be a fake, and we couldn't stop the reverse.

Yea its like a broken record now. I hate even talking about it. I couldnt get on this board after the game was over until about now. Great season with an SEC Title though. But god damn winning the last BCS title(2 in 4 years) would of made me satifised for a LONG time. Well...at least we got one title during the BCS era.

This.

I love recruiting even during the season but now I'm trying to find any piece of AU recruiting info that I can. After NSD, I will be marking the calender days off until A-Day.

to answer the original question, I will never rewatch the game. It will probably be midsummer before I turn on espn again. I've also not turned on a radio this week.

Like most of y'all, I haven't turned on ESPN since Monday night. Unfortunately, was eating lunch yesterday at an oyster bar that had every tv on ESPN. That damn ticker kept running with the final score, and like a train wreck, I couldn't stop reading it.

Already deleted it from DVR without watching a minute. I can't do that to myself again. Seriously the toughest loss I've ever had as a sports fan.

All I have done is gone to espn.com and rewatched the highlights of Auburn(TDs, big plays) and I could probably watch the first half, but that second half will not be watched by me for a while.

Deleted the game the night of the game. Then stayed up to 4 trying to figure out how in the hell we couldn't get a stop with 1 minute to go.

I don't get our special teams. Running into the kicker made it possible to run the fake later. The fake was the game otherwise 28-3 and we're all celebrating today. Even Jimbo says that.

But 4 dropped punts? Missed FG? TD returned for a touchdown? What in the hell were we doing on special teams? How is it the now 87th total defense in the country did so well against the 6th total offense and our QB does decent in the pass and our special teams collapses?!?

Because if the fake punt was the game, watch (don't know is name) but if #82 stays put they don't convert. He'd slowed FSU down and gotten help.

Auburn ball on FSU's 35-40, score 28-3 going into the half. Set up for a pass happy FSU and blitz the 3rd quarter.

One thing I don't even know about (because I turned it off as Mason hit the ground) was what FSU did after they won? Did they charge the field and continue to be the dicks they were before the game or did they even shake a hand?

Don't know. I went outside in the cold and drank a beer by myself.

Oh, and I don't plan on visiting the Rant for months either. Planning to stay in here with my fellow Aubies for awhile.
