What would the depth chart be in a 3-4 scheme?

Who would man our defensive front? Who would our linebackers be particularly the BUCK and the WILL linebackers?

Monty and Russell at NG I'm sure and if we go to 3-4 I think we might be able to add Daryn Payne there too and then Andrew Williams, Lambert, and Daniel primarily on the outside with Lawson, Kennion, and Thornton as JACK linebackers.

You think Frost and Cassanova will still be around to man the middle? Swain can play some too.

I hope so. Swain is graduating this year I think.

Yanno I thought that for the longest time too. But he's listed as a junior on multiple websites. Either way kinda ready for Tre Williams to see more pt.

I feel like that would be a sick line up but that's just me.

Me too. Biggest linebacker recruit we've had in a while.

Monty seems thin to play NG at this point.

We don't have a single DT on the roster that would be a good 3-4 NT. Guys like Lawrence, Adams, Lambert would look like good 3-4 DE's. Adams is not a NT. LB's would be Frost and Lawson with McKinzy and Williams inside.

Monty does seem a little thin but I would put him there no doubt, kid can play some football. I'm not as sold on Elijah Daniel as others seem to be. But he might be the best option we have. I would also like to see Moncreif on the field too.

All you're asking the DL in a 3-4 to do is eat blocks and free up LBs. Another off season in the weight room and I think he'd be perfrctly fine in that role.

He literally plays nothing like a NT. He's a penetrator, not a guy who stands up and holds the line. Not only would he not fit well, but it would be a colossal waste of talent.

If it was that easy the 3-4 NT position wouldn't be so challenging for most teams to fill. Adams literally plays nothing like a NT. You think he's going to gorge on pancakes all day and poof he's a great NT now? Thats not how it works.

I don't suppose He'll be thinning up to play the end. He'll have to beef up then.

I know this much, I'd rather have a Muschamp ran 3-4 scheme with Monty at nose (for probably only 1 more season anyways) than try and get a different coordinator to fit a 4-3.

I was referring to Elijah Daniel. I apologize, I should have been more specific. I agree, Monty would not fill the role of 3-4 NG at all.

Why would he be thinning up to play end? 290-300 pounds is the standard weight for most 3-4 DE's. That is exactly his weight right now.

Met4 or whoever you are bro keep in mind this. Monty is 300 pounds. Suh and Fairly are both under 310. It can definitely work.

I have no idea what you are trying to say. What does Suh's or Fairley's weight have to do with Adams' being a 3-4 NT?
