With both Woody and Sean here for next year and throw in a healthy Tyler Queen....

Is the time ripe (now) to use him elsewhere, as in maybe a McCalleb type role against Georgia? . . . (yes - not an original thought)

He could help with a hurt KP and stil dinged KJ. The flea-flicker hast to be a must-have thought for Gus (...Is there ever a wrinkle not considered?). His speed could be the difference in last game, plus the more they have to plan for the better. And it's not as if he wouldn't still be a backup. Downside is both SW and JF3 could go down, but without SW a run for SEC-C is practically over any way, and there's still the in between A-A&M game for one to heal.

How would he do in the Wildcat role compared to KJ?

I'm sorry. I just don't see any role for him on a championship-caliber Auburn team.

He was a gleam of light when we thought our season was done because most of our players sucked. But now that we have a ton of playmakers stepping up, why do we need JFIII anywhere on the field?

QB? White's doing just fine.

Wildcat? Maybe. But KJ needs carries and is a much tougher runner than JFIII and also has better agility.

Jet sweep? Eli has it covered.

Deep threat? Maybe. But can he catch deep balls? Do we need some hail mary miracles each game to compete? I don't think it's necessary.

Maybe kick return but he's so small that I think he'd fumble if he got hit hard enough.

He had 7 rushes for 60 yards against Vandy. I'd say we can find a role for him..

Isn't that what NFL try with Onterio ?

Seems a little short.

And a fumble. The kid carries the ball like a loaf of bread. Send him to the track team.

Yes now is the time to move him from QB. Our starter is banged up and Jeremy Johnson is our third string. So now is DEFINITELY the time to move him.

It's not like we have any other jet sweep guys on the team that are fast as hell.

I agree with how he carries it a lot of the time, but that fumble was tucked in and he was hit direct with a helmet to the ball

I like JFIII but you can't plug in a different QB at this point in the season and expect the same results with this type of offense. I'm no expert but I like having a healthy JFIII if SW can't go.

Yeah giving the ball to the other team, no big deal.

Classic Brannigan. Come on man. If he is that fast and whatever, put him at safety for a while and see what happens (like Rudy).

We should start a healthy Sean White over JF3. I'm not going to argue that

If we have to start JF3 in games though, to not throw the ball is an absolute joke. He may not be a great QB, but he has absolutely no shot of moving the ball if even people in the stands know 99% of the plays are runs

I am going out on a limb and saying he won't be here next spring. It will be grades, he does something stupid, or just transfers to Div. II school. He shouldn't see the field again after this year.

Made by a guy who Chandler Cox ran right by instead of, you know, actually trying to block him.

What would make you think that?

It will be grades,

On Netflix U, they said he showed up to every class on his own and had no academic concerns

quote:

he does something stupid

He has not been involved in off the field issues and has never been identified as a trouble maker

He is a monster athlete and special with the ball. Why would we not want him on the field?

No WR on the roster matches the skillset/pure speed of JF3. He would be a huge downfield threat when needed
