Who do you want gone more? Jacobs or Gus. I can't fathom a brand new prez trying to replace both of those positions. My opinion? Strap in for a two year ride. SEC is going to be a coaching blood bath at the end of the season. Let that shite sort itself out, suck it up next year, and (hopefully) have a new AD hire a new HC without a lot of other P5
Competition around. I don't think we'll even have another choice, frankly. Just my $.02.

Maybe Al Borges was brought in by the PTB to be the back-up interim head coach if Gus imploded.
Any chance we see that happen this week?

No more YES MEN. Time to lance the boil my friend
I HATE comparing to Bama, but they "lanced the boil" and look where it took them. Countless YES MEN failed and they finally LET GO.

Now I wouldn’t say Chizik was unproven he was an actually well established terrible coach.

Bill Clark would be a homerun

Chip kelly, $7.5m for 8 years. No buyout. Full commitment. He picks own staff! He can choose to retain garner. It is the only way forward

Chip=fatter Gus. I just don't think he would work well here.
Why not? The guy had 2 nfl HC gigs, so he is infinitely more qualified than Gus. He is innovative. His team would not have been shutout in the 2nd half. He has an identity and would have a much better recruiting situation at auburn than he had at oregon (proximity).

Well for starters, he lost to Gene freakin' Chizik.
Saban blew a 24-0 lead to chizik. What is your point?

I'm just not sold on Chip. I think we'd get the same results we have from Gus.
He went 46-7 (2-2 in bcs bowl games). 87% W
