What's wrong with our team? I watched the last 5 minutes and we actually made free throws and didn't choke away the lead. I'm not used to that.

Agreed. We really need Chris Griffen to start scoring. He is a guy who can score but hasn't really showed up yet offensively. TSD can score too but isn't consistent enough to be counted on as a 3rd scorer. I like Wade but he plays the same position as KT and CD3 so he isn't going to get a lot of minutes.

Sam Longwood had a big game last Sat vs Dallas Prime Prep and top 5 national player Emanuel Mudiay leading his team to a 59-55 win. He scored 17 and according to the experts in attendance was by far the best player on the court.

Sam Longwood has a chance to save AU basketball.. let's just hope he doesn't ask for his release when Barbee is fired.

I think retaining Ryan Miller would be the key to keeping Longwood if/when Barbee is fired.

I've seen coaching changes where an arse coach was held onto because of recruiting relationships. If Lebo would have been smart he would have held onto Shannon Weaver after he was cleared by the NCAA in the Ellis mess. To my knowledge Miller doesn't have anywhere near the baggage Weaver had so it is at least a possibility.

Game tonight @8 on CSS vs Arkansas Pine Bluff. It should be a good opportunity try to get Griffin going a little and work on trying to find some type of low post offense from somebody. On another note APB is a very bad basketball team and we have no reason playing them outside of a 1st game rent a win situation.

53-25 at halftime. APB is bad but we would have had trouble scoring 53 against air earlier in the season. Somebody please kick me in the balls before I start believing that we might finish above.500 this season.

Not that anyone cares, but we do have a game against Florida A&M tonight at 7. Should be an easy win but we'll see. I don't think it is going to be broadcasted on tv.
