It was not. But 0-6 streak against uga and bama kind of changes things.

It's not that. It's been what we've seen over all 4 years.

So OK you fire him now. And then what do you expect for the next 3 years? Is that better than your expectation if we held Gus?

And with what available coach could we achieve those expectations?

You want to hire a shitty coach now that we're going to have to stick with for 3-4 years?

Firing people without having options to replace him with is how you end up with a Dline coach as your HC

Learn from LSU don't copy them

Why have a lame duck coach for a year?

Future looks bleak when we can't fire a coach only because nobody is any better.

He's not a lame duck. Give him a shot next year. Don't fire him after the first loss.

Well, let me ask it this way, what should our expectations be? 6-8 wins? 0-8 against uga and bama? QB busts?

Because that's our trend vector.

sucks.

Uh what. It's year 4. We have no qb. And have only become more retarded on offense

No that's just college football and the fact that there aren't an abundance of good coaches with very very few elite coaches that can sustain success anywhere over a fairly long period of time.

Are you assuming we hire a bad coach because of JJ?

Should we just be competent with what we got because we have not faith in our AD to make a good hire.

The thing is, there could be a good coach out there that no one is taking about. It takes a smart a AD to spot them, but it happens.

It wouldn't matter who we hire, the first loss the fans would turn on the new coach. It's sad the state this board and So called fans are in. Realistically we are a qb away from bein back in top. And before anyone says that Gus can't develop qb's. Look at the NFL Ryan leaf was suppose to be a can't miss qb and was a bust. No one expected Dak to be doing what he's doin with the cowboys. Qb is probably one of the hardest positions to evaluate.

It isn't about one game. Look at how absolutely unprepared and pathetic we look ALL the fricking time. That is not the sign of a good / decent / or even below average coach.

You just cited Ryan leaf in your defense of gus.

I don't think I even need to respond

Yeah it sucks and sure we aren't meeting expectations currently. I'm not arguing that at all.

I'm simply stating firing Gus right now is not the answer. Clearly we'll disagree on this not matter what so
