Burrow didn’t have accuracy issues last season like Nix this season.

Burrow and Nix had the exact same completion percentage. Both at 58%, I remember correctly burrow throwing all kind of bad passes.

Bad passes sometimes are caused by poor decisions and not accuracy problems

Is it not the passing coordinator they hired from the Saints?

I thought this was obvious.

Drew Brees said he’s able to follow along with the offensive scheme but he can see the differences as well. The answer is pretty simple but I think it’s pretty clear the abundant wealth of talent everywhere made the offense easy to call. All credit to LSU though. That offense is as pretty as anything I’ve seen since Auburn 2013.

By bringing in Chad Morris, Gus can change as little or as much as he would like.

I think I know where that is headed.

The main difference I see, which I think reflects the passing schemes and what they practiced on at LSU is...

Look at the routes the WRs ran for LSU, and where Burrows connected on those throws. There were places the WRs caught the ball game after game, that I never see consistently even ran or called by AU OCs the last few years.

A lot of the throws were not high percentage but good called routes by the OC and executed by the QB.

That's what I wish for with our offense...

Nix threw the ball away a bunch. I'm sure he was coached not to take freshman risks.

Watching UVA, I hope Gus starts copying their trick plays.

They ran this screen pass/lateral to their LT that was just incredibly sneaky.
