It was at a critical moment where we were rallying back and looked to go ahead a bunch. Then Lior came in and just killed the momentum

Aden was shook big time. I think ultimately this game was great for everyone. Johni was a monster. Need to see that some more.

It’s nice to see that when shots aren’t falling, we can still find a way to compete and win. Easily could have won that game.

That wasn't great, but KD lost his cool and cost us several trips down the court too. Holloway was clearly rattled as well.

I love Berman, but he shouldn’t have played last night. He’s too much of a defensive liability.

No one loves hating on Auburn players more than Auburn fans. It’s insane

Newsflash, lior is a bad shooter. It's not his fault, he just shouldn't be on the court in that situation

You are trying too hard. Not a single person is hating on Berman. Every criticism has been aimed at the fully grown man. Berman has his role but last night wasnt it.

I’m not hating at all. If anything, my criticism is pointed at Bruce. We don’t have to play all 11 every night.

I wasn’t speaking specifically about Lior. I was speaking as a fanbase.

Someone always has to be the scapegoat. We lost a tough road game by 4 and didn’t play well. Get over it. We will lose more games this season but win more than we lose. We have a really good team but good teams lose on the road.

Prior to last night our conference schedule was the worst in conference at 14th. Going forward from last night we have the 4th most difficult. Buckle up boys. shite is about to get real.

This is not directed at any poster just general statement.

As Bruce has been saying we aren’t as bad as they thought we would be but we aren’t as good as they think we are.

If we can't discuss auburn sports here why does this forum exist? Why the constant lectures on what we can/can not think/discuss?

Anyone is free to speak whatever they want my issue is all the constant bashing of players. It’s just dumb.

I will agree it can be pretty brutal to read the Bball thread during a game that isn't going well. Some of the first half comments were embarrassing.

Let us just have a conversation, Foy. I think our players played very hard last night, and dont share with any of the criticisms presented even this lunch hour that our guys were just spectating and all of that. I think our guys are constantly moving fast as frick. CBM seems to not ever stop hustling. KD never stops. Sometimes, those players, made great plays and things just didnt turn out well. KD once had a memoarable chase down block because he was running hundred miles an hour, but the other team still ended up with the ball and clean 3 point attempt. I have been very critical of our guards on the offenseive end because it seems like they are perpetually what holds our offense back, but I dont remember ever saying anything about the guards that made things embarrassing.

Aden is fine. We cannot babysit him though. I said the same thing about Freshman Bo Nix when he did not need to be out there since we had the roster to be in win-now mode. CBM is fine. He hustles a ton. His game was pretty sloppy but that may have been an eye opening experience to him.Lior? Let us be honest. He is glorified caboose. Overall, I am talking about Bruce. Bruce made a few errors yesterday and that is fine. There is no need in the "In Bruce I Trust" statements or "15 years ago we would have been happy with Dairy Queen; look how far our expectations have come." I love Bruce and you should too. But I dont have to love him like you do.

Actually Jang, I believe you are correct, I don't think any of the embarrassing first half comments were yours but thanks for the thought out response.

We lost a road game.

4 reasons:
1. They played hard by blitzing our guards just over half court.
2. They shot 3s decently, we did not.
3. They made clutch free throws down the stretch, we missed a few.
4. We had guys that did not play as well offensively as they have been playing. JW, AH both had rough games.

It’s hard to win on the road.

In general, their scouting and gameplan was better than ours.
