That was so horrible… some games lior just can’t play. This was one of them.

There’s a method to Bruce’s madness, but when it’s more madness than method it makes me want to pull my hair out.

I have been bitching about Bruce's TO strategy for years but his everlasting belief that the current 5 can survive until the next tv time out is usually the culprit for his timeouts strategy. Bruce trying to sneak in extra rest until the TV timeout is what bit him I guarantee it.

it was 6 or 8 back to back. Even play by play annnouncers dialed into the leading scorer of the SEC sizing up the weak defense that was trying to guard him.

I think it was 5 but there could have been a third possession.

At least 6

There was a 3 pt he made

Then another lay up where berman fouled. Sears hit the FT

May have been another score. It was all boom boom boom

Damn. I was listening to the game and only heard lior's name mentioned once maybe twice. Well, there was blame enough to go around.

I think Bruce put him in after two of our guys got 3 fouls each correct?

He put him in instead of Moore to rest CBM. Presumably to try and steal a 3 ball. Ironically Moore actually knocked one down later on.

And Lior chased him the entire time.
It was obvious he could not stay in front of Sears.
I absolutely love Lior and his heart, but there are some guys he just cannot keep up with. That was on CBP for leaving him on Sears and not either going to a zone or switching up who was on Sears.
That was one of many reasons we let this one get away.

Thought the same thing. I love that Bruce is loyal to Lior, but he had no business playing in that game last night. Really bad matchup for his style.
