It's easy to put up good results vs. terrible competition, yes. But i think we can all agree his competition is about equal to a JUCO, maybe a little better. So it's not awful. Certainly better than any HS competition. Level of competition doesn't mean jack shite for evaluating someone either....if it does, explain Carson Wentz going #2 overall tomorrow.
But what I said in him LOOKING good has more to do with ball placement, good footwork, stuff like that. Which, i'm sure by now you probably glanced at at least, and you can't deny he at least looks like a solid passer and a smart/athletic runner. Not a super strong arm or anything but he seems to do really well putting the ball in advantageous spots for his WRs to make plays. That is a huge upgrade if nothing else for us at QB, right?

I really don't think Gus would be going after EJ if he didn't think EJ could perform better in his offense.

Nick Marshall had 20 ints the year before he won the SEC and led us to the championship game. Who gives a frick what Jenkins did last year. He is mobile, has good touch on his passes, and is a competitor. Perfect fit for Gustav's offense. The rest is just nega fear talking

Probably not, but if Gus brings in a GT QB it is obvious whatever SW has isn't good enough.

Here's the problem with Eli Jenkins. He's not a better passer than Sean White, and he's not a better runner than JF3. He's a mediocre MAC conference QB. Gus is probably drooling over Kodi Burns 2.0

Me too. With the way things are shaping up at QB, I hope Gus' new i8 can tow a Uhaul trailer. It can hold all of his bubble gum and Kristi's prescription pills.
