Turn the other cheek and such. If they feel they have to do it, so be it...but it certainly isn't necessary.

I never said, this, and I respect your opinion that an aunt's response needs to be out there...I just don't share it.

I'm just glad it was a well thought out and articulated response. She makes valid points while accepting reapsonsibility for Trey's actions. Also, the aunt is apparently now living in Auburn and has likely been hearing it from both sides and reached her breaking point prompting this response

Normally I agree but what she said was pretty solid. She never defended Tray's actions or criticized UGA. She just tried to convey that, "This is a private family matter. We are supportive of our family even when the eff up. Tray understands he messed up and he has a rare opportunity to gt back on track. "

Yes, I would normally like folks to move on, but they were attacked by this Sharp guy first along with numerous attacks by UGA fans. It's easy to say "just shut up" when it's not your family, so I can't blame them.
I just wish it would have been a short statement and not the long rant.
Bottom line.......This is all about him going to AU from the UGA side. You wouldn't hear much, if he went anywhere else. JMO

100% Mr. Bailey and the asshurt uga fans would have said noting if he had gone anywhere else. Proof is in the lack of comments when JHC went to UL and when that other kid went to Bama.
Their envy of AUs last few years(due in large part to former and possible UGA players) has turned to blind hate and are turning a great civil rivalry into some faux ill-mannered Iron Bowl like event.
I cannot believe that this much attention has gone to a freshman safety who wont even play this year.
Its funny to me that AU gets so much blame in this situatoin when we did nothing wrong. Richt is the one that let the kid go and in a manner that allows Tray to go to Auburn. Auburn picks up a kid that less than two years ago heavily recruited so what part of that is AU's fault? If anyting, they should be getting after Richt for allowing a top flight recruit to go to a rival.

I agree with gene on this and have no problem with what the Aunt said. She could have left out the War Eagle at the end.

Outside of one Article by a disgruntled UGA parent and message board fodder, this is a non-story. ESPN, etc. do not care about this.
