No I was just kidding. I did go to CO, but didn't make any strategic stops...

Here's a point by Coach John Ray, a former FL high school coach who has done a lot of writing and game-tape reviews for Auburn sites over the years:

quote:

Something for J.B. Grimes and the offensive line to work on: when you have a relatively short quarterback and he throws a lot from inside the tackle box, it’s necessary to block defenders at waist-level to keep them from jumping up or raising their hands.

Marshall seemed to make some miss reads on the option tonight which is unusual. Pretty good passing performance from him if our WRs would catch the ball.

I think that this Snyder team is extremely disciplined which can be trouble for an Offense like Gus'. They were committing guys to NM whether he kept the ball or not. That combined with a poor OL play which may have been forcing him to make the decision a little sooner than he would prefer.

Paul Ellen mentioned that to Craig on the post game report and Dameyune basically said that's an adjustment they made later in the game when we hit Duke on the slant. I expect them to work on that this week in practice though and they'll see a lot on film that little changes will make huge differences on the OL.

Gus, outside of Snyder, is the best at making adjustments. I'm glad KSU showed us areas we need to improve in, and I expect Gus to counter in the future.
