This douche canoe is just helping AL.com with its dry runs in advance of Iron Bowl week.

You waste your one hour a week of computer time in prison on AL.com?

What was wrong with that article? Get out of the house and away from the battered woman syndrome you seem to have.

Article seemed sorta fine but the author's douchey comments afterwards showed him to be a smug prick.

and 2014's No. 1 overall recruit, Da'Shawn Hand, who is currently a backup defensive end at Alabama.

In Hand's case, Farrell said the 6-foot-4, 278-pounder fell victim to the numbers game at Alabama, especially after Jonathan Allen decided to return for his senior season. Even then, Hand is factoring heavily into the Tide's defensive line rotation and has 12 tackles, including a sack, to go along with a forced fumble and a hurry in seven games this year.

So Alabama gets a pass because it's just a "numbers game" there. They have so many 5 stars that it's OK if Hand is a back-up.

But the same can't be true for AU, right? AU has no talent at all ahead of Cowart. Right?

Guy is a dick but he is right about Cowart. Dude needs to step it up. A #1 or #2 overall recruit should be contributing more than he has at this point.

Not saying he wont pick it up but he should be playing more and playing better when he is in there

Hands also a year older than cowart... Putting his production half way through his sophomore season in the article would make more sense than what he's doing now.

Regardless, it's a click bait headline... the article isn't that bad, but it feels like our five star DL is being held to a higher standard than others.

Exactly.

People who can't resist reading al.com = the same people who repeatedly smell their hand after scratching their nuts.

If you didn't like it, you would stop. Yet, as such, I wager this isn't your first such thread.

Obviously, I am responding to OP. Not lowspark12.

That's what I love about this board: you have to earn it everyday.

Thanks, jrljr. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't know where the bar was.

It is not a great article (repeats himself too much, like trying to fill a word count.), but it is an idea worthy of n discussion.

Retitle your thread to allow others to know what the article is about.
