Art will get a consultant position somewhere. Kendall will be hired as a QB/OC type somewhere.

You don't think any discussions could have occurred yet?

Mmmkay. He has let Gus down more than once in this regard.

Gus is not going to keep making the same mistakes. (i.e. Jovon Robinson/D. Williams)

He can't allow that to infect the team again.

09- Todd was recruited and largely developed by Tuberville. Good for 2009, but not great.
10- JUCO Heisman who developed at Florida and continued at JUCO until he transferred in
11- We had a bunch of scrubs playing QB
12- LOL
13- JUCO QB who was an idiot savant at the read-option.
14- JUCO QB again
15- Clusterfrick then decent play from a RS Fr then back to Clusterfrick after an injury

Amended. If I'm a developed QB I would love to play for Malzahn. If I'm raw, I'll pass. Who has he recruited out of high school at that position AND developed that has worked out? I'm sure there are some, but please remind me.

so after he has made those same type mistakes throughout his entire career he has decided to draw the line right NOW... with his career on the line type of season with the runner up visiting in the opener. yeah, thats usually how it happens in real life. I need what some of yall are smoking.

LO fricking L

I don't remember Gus being here in '12. Could be wrong.

If you want to cross out the JUCOs then fine. But still you're boiling it down to basing your opinion off of a year with scrubs and then one bust and one that looked at least decent

I don't think that warrants your earlier statement.

If he thinks that's what's been wrong with his team's then it makes sense.

Whether he actually thinks that or not is up for you to decide but it's a reasonable stance (which I didn't think I'd ever say about jrljr )

I'm basing my opinion on the QB's Gus has recruited to Auburn and tried to develop.

Kiehl Frazier. Clint Moseley. Jeremy Johnson. Sean White. If I'm a Senior HS/RS Freshman QB looking to transfer, I'm not thrilled with that list and their prospects at the next level.

I hope the people saying this is false, are correct.

Let me say that. I want good things for AU.

We have to remember, we are a week away from college football starting, rumors about our team are going to start flying.

I can only imagine. What is important is we start getting into game mode.

I honestly wouldnt be surprised if we started this rumor to try to keep them guessing preparing for the wrong guy. THIS is something that would be right up Malzahn's alley. just an extension of this "they are all doing so well it's hard to choose between them" charade we have been living the last couple weeks.

It could be completely false for now, until it's announced publicly on game day leading up to kick-off.. Wouldn't surprise me, if the rumors are true.
