I would vote to give him time.

But at this point, too much of a dark cloud for him to get coaches/players here.

I vote keep him. He obviously has the work ethic and philosophy we want to get past the soft Malzahn years. He just needs some time to learn how to recruit down here in the Southeast. Give him two more years and see what he can do. If anything, he builds up the discipline and work ethic for the players and the next coach can profit from it.

Not enough information at this time. Everybody could still make up and be friends I guess. As long as they can blame the rumor drop on someone else (the affair one in particular). I’m personally good either way at this point. I wish we would stay out of the drama and dissent. It’s more embarrassing than anything else. We need leadership bigly and we don’t have any with power.

If you had asked me before all this I’d say give him another season. We don’t have a choice but to fire him now though

At this point we are in a no win situation. If he sucks, we fire him anyways. If he wins he probably heads west first chance he gets because if how all this went down.

I'm only down voting because this has been so screwed up that there is no way the man can recover to remain on

I vote we let the people who pay his salary evaluate his progress.

Move on because there’s no way he’ll be happy at Auburn. And that will impact on-field performance and recruiting.

If Harsin stays and wins an SECCG in the next three years, it’ll be the most remarkable coaching job in SEC history.

Is it obvious that he has the work ethic?

He won’t even leave vacation to try and save his job.

Keep.

University needs to publicly acknowledge how much of a cluster f**k this has been and issue some sort of statement that allows them to save face, but basically apologizes for not being able to squash it sooner.

If he is 6-6 in 2023 and recruiting is crap, FIRE. HIS. arse.

However, and not that and of you or any of the decision makers care, if we fire him now and hire Kevin Steele or Hugh Freeze, I'm f**king out for good.

I upvoted because I have not seen any actual information to support firing a coach for a cause after one year. We can all be upset with the record and disappointed in the recruiting. But we hired him, and signed him to a contract, and until more information comes out that proves otherwise he deserves a fair shot at doing his job, which involves at least 2-3 years to build this program his way.

Unfortunately, all of this nonsense will most likely prevent him from ever having an actual fair shot, which really sucks for him. So I'll accept the news either way, but honestly just ready for it to be over.

I'm with this^

The only cloud hanging over Auburn is the one manufactured by Social Media and Media. Y'all really have read so much into the propaganda that it's completely turned you off of Harsin. Sure I wish he recruited better, but I'm not sure that's "For Cause" worthy. Coaches leaving, most of you pointing this out were directly the ones wanting them to leave in the season, hypocritical. Players leaving, most were dead weight, our numbers weren't actually that high, as compared to others. ie. We had 19 to Bama's 17 in the portal for 2021-22 season.

Mason leaving then accepting a lower pay while telling players he was taking a break is morally on Mason to correct.

I'm still honestly not for him leaving or staying until we actually have any facts...we don't it's still all pay-site rumor mills

You are playing right into the big time power player’s hands. Doesn’t matter if the shite is true they have stirred the pot.

It all depends on if he actually did anything to be fired with cause. If not, you have to give the man a chance, though that ship may have already sailed whether you for him or not.

I downvoted, buy only because the damage is already done. No way he could come back and perform his job with all this swirling around.

Why don’t we all stop listening to the bought and paid for media and the soft arse scrubs that left and start listening to the kids on the team now.

I downvoted because what recruit in their right mind would come here knowing their coach is a lame duck. You think ranking 18th is bad? Just wait to see what happens if he stays.
