Time for a little IM thread to get away from the recruiting, QB talks and Tequila.

1 - Name a Auburn game that you did not attend in person but you really wished you would have

2. - Name a Auburn game that you did attend that was your favorite

3 - Name a Auburn game that you attended that you wished you didnt.

1 - West Virginia 2009. frick. Stayed home due to the weather and just threw my tickets in the trash. Wish I would have gone and been a part of that game...

2 - Oregon 2011 - Not just because I have been a fan for 30 years and I have not seen a Championship but we pretty much went to every game that year and it was unreal to be there to finish it off

3 - 2004 Sugar Bowl Virginia Tech - Drove there, hated the game. Hated the fricking city, hated the ticket I got on the way home. Should not have been there and I was pissed at life even though we won.

1 - Kick Six. Dad was getting treatment at time so I don't really wish I'd done something different, but would have been awesome. Good memories of being with my family though.

2 - UGA 2005/2013

3 - UGA blackout game (2007?)

1) 2013 Iron Bowl - had a chance to go. Stayed in Bham to pursue a girl

2) 2009 WVU game - my first game in the student section. Needless to say, I was not disappointed

3) 2011 Utah State - first game as reigning National Champs and we're seconds away from losing to a Mountain West school. The worst part was it was damned obvious from the lack of shits given on the Auburn sideline the direction that Chizik's tenure was heading.

1. 1993 Florida - I had just recently left the Navy and still lived in Norfolk VA. Only game I was able to make it to all year was the Iron Bowl and that was a nice one to be at.

2. As much fun as I had in Glendale and as incredibly important as that game was, I still have to say my personal favorite was the 1982 Iron Bowl. After losing 9 in a row to those bastards, not only was beating them fun, it was a huge mental burden lifted, and it sent that bastard Bryant to the grave with his last game against us a loss. Plus, by the time we got back to Auburn later that night, the town was still rockin' full blast. There's nothing about that weekend that isn't still crystal clear in my memory and it was glorious.

3. 2006 DSOR - Another Tuberville Special, laying an egg with a dominant team to ensure that we were also-rans yet again. Only game I've ever walked out J-H early in disgust.

I was there and it is my second choice for a game that I attended that I was glad I did. I was also at the prayer at JH. but the Oregon game was the end piece to the 2010 season that was the best ever. Nothing can ever top that season. frick errybody...

2009 WVU was my son's Freshman year at Auburn. He was, of course, in the student section and not sitting with Dad anymore.

He said the lines to the cell phone stores and kiosks in town the week after that game were endless.

100% agree. I just can't put that individual game as my favorite (though it *is* in 2nd place btw).

1982 was when Pat Dye finally pulled us out of the Pit of Football Doom and set us on level ground with a bright future. After you've lived in the dark pit for year after year, getting out of it into the sun with everybody else leaves an impression. And, not being in the pit any longer, we could see that there was a mountain out there.

2010 was when we finally got to the top of the mountain.

Yea, I was actually starting High School then. Planed to attend Auburn but I ended up going elsewhere. Life decisions. If I would have went to Auburn like planned, I would have been on campus with Bo.

I have been very lucky in my life. Got to do a lot of things that most people will never do. I have been able to make a living the past 20 years doing something that people dream of. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 30 years now and have been somewhat lucky financially. But, If I could change one thing, one decision, that I made in my life, it would be to attend a university. You guys that did, bravo to you

I decided a different route that did work for me but in the end, I missed out on that experience.

1. Florida 2001, my cousin had me a ticket in the student section but I stayed home because I didn't think we had a chance, huge mistake.

I didn't attend the 2010 Natty but it wasn't for lack of effort. Went to Arizona with 2k to spend on a ticket but still couldn't get in.

2. 2006 Florida was probably the most fun I've had at a game from start to finish but Kick 6 is obviously the single most unbelievable/awesome single moment.

Honorable mention: 2001 UGA, 2004 UT, 2004 UGA, 2005 UGA, 2005 Bama, 2006 LSU, 2010 LSU

3. Bama 2001, absolutely nothing redeeming about that game.

06 Arkansas and 06 UGA sucked too.

My wife and I were in line to get in the Tostitos Tailgate deal there and a lady offered us 5K cash for our tickets. It was tempting but no way I was going to miss that game. Im not sure if I would have sold them for 10K. Honestly

I was on my way to meet a guy in Lagrange about a week before we were supposed to leave to buy his ticket for $1600 but he called right when I got outside of Atlanta and told me his dad told him he couldn't sell it for that cheap anymore.

Then after I had given up hope we went to the AU bar outside the stadium and two guys (Arizona fans) with tickets around their necks had just started eating their meal like an hour before kickoff. I offered them 2k for one ticket and they wouldn't accept it. I can't imagine what it's like to be in a position to turn down 2k for a game between two teams you don't care about. Had a great time that night but won't ever fully get over not being able to be in the stadium in person.

Oregon 2011.

1989 Bama. Atmosphere will pretty much never be topped for me I'm sure.

1996 outback bowl against Penn State. Fricking miserable game in the rain. Team didn't come to play, had to deal with douchebag Penn State fans, and then drive back home to Auburn afterwards. Not a fun trip.

1996 Florida game is a close second here. Pretty much same as above minus the rain and the Florida fans weren't douchebags.
