Auburn fans really will bitch about anything and nothing.

I will bitch about the NIL and recruiting while we are still sitting in the low 60s with 7 players.

Texas lineman get 50k, ours get free wings....45 minutes away.....when gas is over $3 per gallon. Paying for wings in Auburn would be the cheaper way to go

And we have no idea what the deal is about?

Also, if we are able to get the OL some NIL deals, I would say maybe Auburn NIL is starting to pick up.

Auburn is still playing checkers with the NIL while the rest of the SEC is playing 3D chess.

LSU linemen just inked the exact same deal.

Makes more sense when you have two locations in your town vs. zero.

I think we're getting all hung up on the locations.

These 5 kids are getting paid, probably getting free food, swag, and will probably have their transportation taken care of whenever they go do their appearances.

They're probably over the moon.

Plus, maybe this means Hooters is coming back to Auburn. Average wings for everyone!

You are right though. It's a start. Auburn still needs to step it up and hopefully that's a start.

If Hooters is giving them a little scratch to advertise across the player's social media, which is what it sounds like, the players don't care where the nearest location is.

I expect to compete with at least the top-half of the SEC. IF we aren't doing that, then we have some problems to address.

As my friend pointed-out above, Texas linemen are getting $50k each.

Who do you think we should be equal to on and off the field? If you think we are trending well in any way right now, my guess is Mississippi State and South Carolina. A level just below Ole Miss and Arkansas

Could be. Although that building stuck around for a while and became a few different things. When I left town, it was the Shrimp Basket
