If the guy wants to come here, we should hire him. Kevin Greene would be a good coach and should be a hell of a recruiter.

It wouldn't even matter to me if he wanted to recruit at all... that would just be a bonus. It would be nice to have some defensive assistants that can actually coach, instead of glorified recruiters we've seen under chizik and malzahn.

Eta: I'd be really shocked if he comes here... but would love it

Yes they had a fight. If you look at Greene's wife's Twitter someone tweeted about it and this was her response:

If there's bad blood, it won't happen... not that the odds are that good anyway.

People can get in fights and still like each other... but that was a pretty public deal

All I know is if that's KG's wife on the previous page, according to James Franklin we should hire him immediately!!

Quote:
"I've been saying it for a long time, I will not hire an assistant coach until I've seen his wife. If she looks the part, and she's a D-I recruit, then you got a chance to get hired. That's part of the deal," Franklin said Wednesday on Nashville's 104.5 FM The Zone, according to coachingsearch.com.

Again, we're looking right to our alumni to fill positions. Let's hire the best coaches we can, not just the alumni.

He has coached LBs at the highest level of football and won a Super Bowl. He'd be a great choice.

JGT reported last night that KG was in the complex on Wednesday. Not sure who he spoke with, etc...
