This blows. Give the ball to your playmakers. Not a fade to your little backup kicker.

I know people are gonna think this is the beginning of something... but tuitt is an often injured WR/backup RB who's had one good game in three years. Stove basically took all his reps as a speed sweep guy.

Because Truitt had to become an effective emergency tailback....

Sucks Truitt is a good kid and maybe fastest guy on the team. He should have been on KO return all along instead of KJ. Goodluck to him

I liked Truitt but not surprised/upset about him leaving. He was not going to a difference maker next year

People always say this shite like they all are Nostradamus or something. He builds quality depth at the very least and he was a good teammate. Its a big loss.

People used to say losing Myron Burton wasn't a big deal until unforeseen things happened and then all of a sudden we were thin at WR.

He played ok, but seriously is he better than Johnson, Pettway, Etc at RB?

Is he better than Stove, Kyle Davis, NCM, etc at WR?

I like his spunk, but he's not what we need size wise to compete with LSU, Bama, UGA, etc.

Here in Trussville we just call him Iggy. But, here, say it with me:

Ig-bin-ah-geh-nee

Hat to see Truitt go but he was going to be buried on the depth chart next year. Lot of youth at WR and we should be OK at tailback with Pettway, Kerryon, Malik and Kam.

In the military, people with last names like that get the first letter and then a number for the rest of the letters. Example here: I10. Mostly touch to pronounce east european and african names.

This is a horrible comparison. Myron Burton had some 150+ yards in spring game at a position with 0 known options after Duke

Truitt was arguably 3rd string at best at all WR positions and wouldn't crack top 3 maybe 4 at RB

Love to keep him for depth but any kid with the chance to get serious play at another school should take it

Respect for him getting his degree in 3 years. Always liked Truitt but not sure who we would want him taking snaps from especially with Stove coming on and then bringing in guys like Alaric Williams and Iggy this recruiting class. He can play immediately next season as grad transfer so he can get on the field for 2 years if he picks right. Hopefully he can stay healthy wherever he goes because everytime we tried to get him involved he got hurt. Will be cheering for him wherever he lands

I actually really liked him at tailback and think he could have been as good as KJ given the full time role of tailback in practice also. He seemed to have very good vision and very good shift with good speed. In our offense, Pettway will start with his vision, shift and power and KJ has shown much better power than I would have given him credit for but I really did like Truitt at that spot though he most likely didn't have a future there.

I wish this guy luck, really did like him and I hope he tears some shite up wherever he goes as long as he isn't playing us.

PS. Does this give us another spot in the upcoming class?

I liked Truitt too but we also had Malik Miller who looked good as a traditional RB w more eligibility. Additionally we have multiple incoming RBs w similar skill sets
