Good to hear. Weather is about to go to shite so be careful.

We are leaving mid week next week to go to Georgia for Christmas. Staying 4 days or so. It looks like they are predicting snow and very cold temps all 4 days we are there

I have take half the day off tomorrow to go buy some long pants for me and my son. I typically just wear shorts up there when we go back even if its cold but that is going to be some 20's and I need to get out of the house a little. Neither of us have a pair of long pants to wear.

Spent the weekend in Destin. Drinking tequila, listening to live music and surf casting. Nothing for me. My buddy caught a bluefish on a top water rig.

All of my kids and their spouses if they have one are headed to the Rockies of Colorado for snowboarding and skiing. I heard a big storm is headed that way.

Yup ... What pissed me off was he was using this rig with a clear bobber and a freaking McDonalds straw as a lure. Crazy but I've seen him catch a shite ton of fish on it.

I don’t want to get too nerdy on the forecast. The cold temps are pretty decently predicted. Lots of model agreement. I wouldn’t put stock into the precipitation yet

It's the that time of season where Mariah Carey gets a sudden revival in plays because of "All I want for Christmas is you"

You don't know the pain until you have to visit your cousin from Minnesota and have to stop at the local Target trying to get him something while the song plays in the background. It's gotten so bad at one point I memorized the song

We use to use straw rigs to pile up the spanish. So much so, that my roommate in AU stole an entire McDonald's straw dispenser.

I actually hooked a porpoise on a double straw rig once. We were trolling and catching spanish 2 per rod. I see one rod bump, it had a spanish on, I waited for the second bump, when the reel started smoking drag. Looked back in the wake and a porpoise started jumping 8-10' up, hauling arse & broke off. It all took about 5 seconds, felt bad.

Wow! I've actually had dolphins surgically remove fish from our lines after they were hooked. They would wait nearby and when we hooked up the chase was on. It was a race to reel them in before they would take away our catch!

Those slippery bastards do that all the time here around the bridges. I was on a great mangrove snapper hole about three weeks ago and one of those bastards would take every single one of them before I could get it in the cooler.

Wanna know about the area I work? Jake and I stopped at a restaurant today to have lunch. A seafood place with a Bar. There was a lady and man sitting next to us that we’re close to my parents age. ? ?

My guess they were in their mid-70s. They were sharing a plate of shrimp. I counted six empty shot glasses on the table and the waitress just brought them two more tequila shots. 12 o’clock in the afternoon. ?. Fun times.

Cortez Florida for you.
