Yes DOs are very respected and aren't bullshite health care professionals at all. And yes DOs can be surgeons too. You would be surprised at how many doctors around are DOs and not MDs.

So you're telling me that they're not chiropractors, right?

Any specific info you're looking for?

Nope, just looking for stuff/places to do/go while in town during the season.

Just went to an AU fundraising event. Key notes:

-We started a 1 Billion dollar campaign this year. We are at around 800 million, ATM
-The engineering department wants to remove the L building and other buildings in that area, and build an engineering student center.
-The Math department is trying to rid the campus of Parker and build a new Math and Science center
-The business department still has no direction.
- We received a 57 million dollar donation, and will build a new performing arts center.

Mugshots is the only other new restaurant I can think of.

Sheila C's Burger Barn out near the old Buffalo Connection. Got that local hole in the wall BBQ joint feel but is solid

Added more to the Heart of Auburn shopping complex, mostly chains though. Tazikis, Newks etc

Fill me in current students. BTW, any locals/students in for making some money and marking off tailgate spots?

I rope off my own tailgate. I potentially could do two depending on where you want it.

I am in front of the library and quad. I would provide all the needed materials, obviously.

This is could be an easy money maker for some enterprising students, not sure why it hasnt been around before

Impressive stuff. This I like to hear. Now we just need to shite on the city council and stop building so many damn apartment complexes.

What games? Not a student but I don't mind roping off two. By me, I mean my friend who is a university employee who does it

I park in that alley between spidle and the deck quite often. I am up the hill directly in front of the library, on the quad side

I thought all of this was common knowledge There's drawings out on the internet somewhere of the proposed plan for the engineering area of campus

A modern D.O. program is nearly identical to traditional MD programs. They take the same licensing examinations and go through the same residency match program as M.D. graduates. Traditionally, they go into primary care, family practice type residencies but, yes, they can, have and will have graduates that enter surgical residencies and practice in all branches of surgery.

I know a couple of guys in the first class and Auburn has heavily sold this prospect of being competitive and I believe they will be

If you are not an engineering student/alum, you wouldn't know, but everyone knows where the buildings are. They were just asking for my money at this event.
