Auburn 14 and UF 15 in the CFP rankings this week.

I am excited about the opportunity too. I'm not nearly as down on the team as a lot of other people. We had one of the toughest schedules in the country and looked really good at times this year when healthy. Do we need to make some changes to take the next step... Probably. But I'll still be excited with a Sugar Bowl appearance and look forward to seeing if we can take the next step next year.
I do agree that UF will jump us if they are even slightly more competitive than we were against Alabama.

I am going to watch the game.
I am going to lower my expectations of things like a recognizable gameplan on offense.
When Cox lines up at QB, I am going to cheer loudly. I will not curse. I will say, "that is a great idea. Gus is a genius!"

We were picked #6 in SEC West and now have shot to finish with a Sugar Bowl win. How can u not be happy about that?

If Florida plays like they did against FSU, Alabama will skull drag them. Hell they would have lost to LSU if they didnt hit a miracle 98yd TD.

Because the defense sucks... Oh wait.. I think AU fans just love to bitch. I'm sure Gus is well aware that the offense needs a shake up. The guy went out and hired the right people to make our weakest side of the ball a top-20 unit, yet somehow thinks he won't fix a unit that was #1 under his watch. It's baffling really. Gus has been learning on the fly as a head coach but has proven many times he knows how to win. Yet our fans want to burn it down because of qb issues.

If we can get healthy and finish the season with a Sugar Bowl win, and possibly land Stidham, we could enter the offseason with some good momentum. After a tough couple weeks, I think I would be pretty satisfied with the season.
We bring back a lot on defense, and it looks like Brown and Davidson should set up to be good replacements for Adams and Lawson.
Offensively we have plenty of talent at the skill positions and bring back almost all of them. We just need a QB. Schedule sets up better next year too, I think this year proves we really shouldn't be afraid of anyone outside of Alabama.

I'm ready to put in my vacation days and book my room. I hope I'm not jumping the gun and it ends up screwing me if somehow Florida gets the bid over us

I don't really care, but I'm sure as hell enjoying the LSU fans losing their shite over it. They still think they are a playoff team!

That entire fanbase has been utterly miserable since the 1st UF game and they deserve all the grief they get.
