We played extremely well after seeing a lull at the end of the season. Proud of these ladies! They are something else.

Turtle missed the first 53 games recovering from ACL surgery on her right knee. Last Sunday, in her second game back, she went down with a left knee injury.

I was always a diamond junkie during my 5 years on the plains, but it was always the guys because there was no fricks given about softball from 99-04. Took beer to class on Wednesdays just to hang out in the outfield for mid-week games.

As soon as we somehow managed to land Myers, I was hooked. To know even when he retires in a couple years, we have his boy is freaking awesome. This Jay Jacobs hire has surpassed Bruce.

Yeah it's safe to say I've watched almost as much AU softball as I have baseball this year. Same goes for last year. I'd hope we won't let his son walk after Clint retires. Clint has to coach through at least 2018 in order for Auburn to forgive the loan of $133,000 they gave to him to break his contract with ASU

From what I've heard Clint already had some family down here in Alabama and yes there is a plan for one of his son's to take over as HC once he retires

Myers is just a freak of a coach. He's so much more analytical than any other coach out there. He times everything and he's extremely innovative. It's remarkable

We definitely are lucky to get him. I remember someone with connections to ASU being really wtf when he left for a low level program like AU

Is this where we pretend to care about softball?

We gave him a substantial raise and complete control of the program. One of the Meyers family lives in Birmingham and he brought 2 of his sons to come coach with him. Softball is easy to make a major turnaround in and Deese had a decent club here. There is/was a lot of good for him to come here, but yes it was a cou to get him from ASU.
