Agree with this possibility. It is unreal how much he is past the defender and then loses judgement on where he needs to be to catch the pass. Not always but quite a bit. I think you may have pegged his issue.

I would like to see JJ get a series each half just to give the defense something else to prepare for but no way should he be our starting qb.

I wouldn't mind seeing this. If we do something like this I would actually like to see a full quarter so JJ can get into a rhythm. Let him have a couple of series doing it that way. I don't know???

Oh Ok. Well it makes what he said moronic then. I have said many times I back Marshall. I merely said I would LIKE to see JJ in and not because Marshall needs to be replaced. Only because I really liked the Arky game when they both played.

Taking your starting QB out for a series with the game in the balance (non garbage time) makes no sense... and all it would take is one 3&out and this place would explode.

it sounds good in theory... but the reality is you're setting yourself up for a bad situation that's 100% avoidable. And what if JJ leads a TD drive?... then you've got the other side of the coin with all these idiots screaming for Johnson to start games.

How many came from Slade's defender?

I think 2 from Slade's man, 1 from Colemans?

Its not. People keep complaining about him not diving, yet they are missing the core problem: most of the time if he doesn't hesitate/slow-up, he wouldn't even need to dive. I'm starting to really believe that he has a serious problem with tracking/reading the flight of the ball in the air. The result looks ridiculous: he beats his man easily, then its almost as if he gives up in the last 5 yards as the ball is approaching and it just falls in front of him while he's holding his arms out. If you notice, he rarely has a problem catching the ball when he's not in full motion...ie: jump-ball scenarios and the like where he has time to set himself. When he's asked to go after a ball that is thrown in front of him (ie: any deep-pass)it seems that he doesn't have that natural ability to track the ball and run underneath it. If you watch the elite deep-threats in the game, it looks so easy because they have a natural ability to track the ball and regulate their speed/path at the same time.

Wonder if he's one of those guys that needs glasses and either doesn't know it or is too proud to wear them?

I never called for Marshall to be replaced with the game in balance. I merely said I would like to see JJ take a few series. I haven't screamed for anyone to be replaced. Feel free to direct your comments to those who are truly melting over wanting Marshall replaced.

I want designed play if possible for JJ. If that doesn't present itself to happen so be it. I repeat I am referring to what happened in the Arky game. I would like a Gulfstream as well, but that seems about a year or two off.
