I’m all for kicking someone when they are down with the Bama ultimate troll by RW…
But in reality I will be glad when this recruitment is over. We have done everything possible to get him in the fold if he chooses us great if not then good for him. I’m almost tired of hearing about him

When seth williams committed to auburn there was a auburn beat guy. Cant remember his name. But he said seth williams just feels like an Auburn kid. RW seems like a bama kid

bama kids don't visit Auburn for the Ole Miss game while Alabama is playing Tennessee in Tuscaloosa.

bama kids don't give their last official visit to Auburn when alabama begs them to sign during the early signing period.

I'd like to believe but many of us were here when that kid got an Auburn tattoo before flipping to bama

Chizik getting fired had everything to do with that.

Personally, I think if RW would just commit to us, that would be a more square hit to the turd bean bag then doing this kinda trolling stuff at this point. Just put the bullet in already if that’s what’s gonna happen.

Is there any doubt that he will now sign with Auburn? At least some reasonable Bama fans are having to admit Deboer is a Desaster. Sayin transferring has to seal it.
Bringing in a West Coast guy with no SEC connections and kicking out of the assistants who did a lot of the recruiting does seem to be a risky plan.
Maybe he'll bring back Mike Shula!

IIRC, it was Trooper Taylor more than Chiz.

It was Trooper, he was extremely close to Rueben.

Rueben Foster has been an embarrassment for Alabama ever since his college career. Making a 9 on his Wonderlic proves he doesn’t have much brain power and the fact that he went in the first round and busted out of the NFL 3 years later means no discipline.
I don’t think Chizik or Gus had the chops to keep him in line. Saban’s force of will alone kept him relatively inline at Bama.

How many guys have been successful in the NFL with a Wonderlic that low? Serious question. At a certain point that kind of lack of cognitive ability has to become a pretty major barrier to grasping defensive schemes and understanding what offenses are doing. Almost no one at any position in the NFL is succeeding over the long term on sheer athleticism. That doesn’t mean they have to be brain surgeons out there, but to be at a 9 on the WL is probably two standard deviations to the left of the average in that distribution.

Off the top of my head those are the positions you can get away with it the most.

I’m hearing RW recommitted to the Gumps.
