Kansas State has been one of the better run defenses for the last few years, so it's not like we were playing a garbage team. Plus it was our first road game and they seem to be experimenting with the offense. It's very similar to Mississippi State last year. So I'm not worring until it becomes a continuous problem.

On a side note, I thought the team didn't seem too fired up about the game for a while.

It appeared to me while watching the game that K-State committed like 9 to the box and went man-to-man on the our receivers forcing us to win through the air. If you watch the game again, you'll see their safeties and sometimes the corners doing run blitz. We we could have hit some of those passes early, we would have forced them out of stacking the box. We didn't so they had no reason stop loading the box to stop the run. It had very little to do with our O-line and RBs and had more to do with 9 man fronts.
