Great news. Rust is my favorite player. People give him shite for the LSU game. But seem to forget he was the only one who seemed to care during the JSU game.

Which makes that chicken shite he pulled in BR more puzzling.

I like him overall but just when he was overcoming his give up at LSU the UGA facemask happened which probably cost us the game.

Hopefully he makes the game winning play against both next year.

Maybe if Roc transfers or Jovon declares then we can finally put Rudy at RB where he belongs

He's a "solid" safety, nothing more. And he can be a liability.... Big step up from what we had at safety before him... But big step down from the explosive potential he showed at RB

I admire him greatly for doing what's best for the team by playing defense. But if he wanted a chance at an NFL career he would have demanded to stay at RB.

That doesn't make any sense... fords body type better fits an NFL free safety than an NFL RB... and their careers are generally longer.

Ford will get his shot in the league one day... and he can play all special teams groupings.

None of that is true. Playing RB in high school really means nothing. Ford is the best safety in a decade. He has NFL potential at S and will probably be a 5th round pick.

That's good to hear. I've gotta think he projects well to the NFL too.

would've been about a 3rd rounder this yr and projects in the top 4 safeties in next years draft (as high as #2 from what i've seen for the '17 draft).
