Not sure if this has been discussed or if people were worried about him leaving, but he's returning.
If nothing else another team leader who'll be back in 2016

He must want another crack at Lenny Fournette

Great news. Rust is my favorite player. People give him shite for the LSU game. But seem to forget he was the only one who seemed to care during the JSU game.

Was it an option?...
He lead the team in tackles this year.
We should have some solid leadership on defense next year, with upper classmen like Lawson, Ford, and Tre Williams.

Our depth at safety next year should be solid (assuming no one transfers)... Ford and Matthews... then Roberts and Ruffin... the backups got plenty of experience last year with Matthews getting hurt.
We need to find a corner opposite Davis... and someone to play nickel corner (Roberts maybe?). That's what made countless so great... dude could play either spot at a high level.

At times last year I thought Roberts was the most physical guy on the field. Wouldn't mind seeing him progress and challenge Matthews for his spot

That's good to hear. I've gotta think he projects well to the NFL too.

Does Holsey project to ever play again?

Yep he should be good to go in August coming off that ACL surgery

I'd like to see Colbert on the field. I think he's got big potential. We'll be pretty deep at safety. Ford/Mathews, Roberts/Ruffin, Colbert/Boston(?)

That's true... lot of potential in the secondary.... and some solid experienced players.

I'd like to see _________________ (name of any unmentioned guy that has never played, but is on the roster and has potential) work his way in next year. That dude is a BEAST

Rudy is criminally underappreciated

So is there an early line on Rudys over/under for facemask penalties next year?
