The worst part is, they can actually be pretty funny when they're just telling stories and BSing. Pretty much the radio equivalent to listening to a conversation at any deer camp in the southeast. However, when they start getting on religion or politics I have to immediately cut it off to make sure I don't bash my head into the steering wheel in frustration.

You guys are letting a morning radio show get at you a little too much. While not straight shock jocks, they do say a lot of shite just to get people riled up. And it worked.

Rick and Bubba can KMA and EABOD.

Here's Cam doing something special (without being asked) again:

https://www.carolinahuddle.com/boards/topic/122608-photos-cam-newton-crashes-roaring-riot-party/

The Roaring Riot is a Panthers fan organization that does a huge pre-game tailgate in Charlotte and also arranges travel and tickets in large blocks for fans going to away games. In the game in Jacksonville earlier this year, the Roaring Riot actually had one of those end-zone pools in the Jax stadium of their very own. They also do frequent charity work and fund-raisers. The bald kid in the pictures at the link is a kid that has cancer and has been going through chemo for over a year (Cam has had a prior relationship with the kid because the kid got to be a "coach for a day" and a "player for a day" last year and this year).

Cam showed up at this Roaring Riot Christmas party unnannounced and unexpected and, at the end of the party, he (I've been told) picked up the tab for it.

How some people can continually hate on and criticize this kid is beyond me.

(P.S. Oh, and I think I'm going to have to get one of those Dabbin' Santa shirts.)

(P.S.S. Feel free to take this to the Rant or the MSB if you want.)

I quit listening when Rick burgess' son died. Unlocked back door leading to the uncovered and unfenced pool where his toddler drowns because no one is watching him. Then proceed to collect thousands and sell DvDs of his preaching about how it was all Gods plan. frick both of them. And that's all i have to say about that.

Why is it that everyone cries racism if someone doesn't agree with them?

Not a Rick & Bubba fan, but racist? Lol.

I bet they are part of the secret plot, along with the police.

Or maybe because it is racist. Let's compare

Starts a "Teach me how to Lutzie" dance and loved

Hilarious celebration by Drew Stanton

Now let's see Cam taking it too far, being a bad role model, being a "TPOS" and generally horrible person

OhNoez Dancing like Lutzie!

Oh Noez superman!

Oh Noez giving a football to a young fan!

If Cam was white, people would celebrate his dancing, generosity & thoughtfulness for fans and charity work

That is complete BS.

Comparing Lutz and his one and only dance to Cam is nonsensical.

90% of people don't even know the actual definition of racism. The lump stereotype, and prejudice in as being the same. They are not.

BTW, I love Cam. But even if I didn't, it would not make me a racist.

I dont think it's racism for the most part. i mean sure there are always racists in regards to everything. If it were Tebow he would probably get more flack than Cam does. It's more of a " can't find anything wrong with him so we over react to everything". If Cam acted like pac man off the field no one would care.

Another point of view just because racism was brought up-

As a racist, wouldn't you want black kids to be more like Cam than a Pac Man or Vick ? There are 14 current NFL players who have domestic violence charges against them. ALL are black. Be happy young kids have such an AUsome role model :D

Please elaborate...

You can't obviously, but it kills me when the first thing people grasp at when they are out of arguments, is racism.

Racism - the belief that one race is genetically inferior/superior to the other.

Educate yourself, and don't let the MSM tell you what to think/believe.

Nope.

At the very basic level of comparison, Lutzie and Stanton had very spontaneous outbursts of emotion and celebration.

Everything Cam does is premeditated.

Like most things you post on this board, you're wrong. I'll spell it out for you but let's get the first obvious premise out of the way

I don't even know how one could argue that Cam Newton is unfairly judged due to being black. If any proof is needed, Statefarm took Aaron Rodger's celebration move "Discount Double Check" and gave him millions while TN moms call Cam Newton a bad role model for the same thing LINK

You claim though is that "Well that's not racist" even though it clearly is based on color of skin as both players effectively do same thing

Logic Flow

1- The attitude regarding this celebrations changes based on skin color

2- Judging people differently based on race indicates perceived racial differences

3- Attributing positive/negative motives and good/poor conduct to similar actions due to racial differences shows bias towards the superiority/inferiority of those races

You should take your own advice. I imagine you are the same type of person who has no problem flying the flag of traitors and then doesn't understand why people wouldn't like it.

As pointed out in my previous post, there also are guys like Aaron Rodgers who are celebrated for his "premeditated" celebration. Statefarm has paid him a lot of money for that "Discount Doublecheck"

ETA**: Not everything out there is racism. It is like the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf," just because it is improperly applied doesn't mean it doesn't exist

What a terrible post. It's not because he's black...

I like Cam's celebrations because he's just having fun playing football which is what you're supposed to do.

Cam gets hate for many reasons but it's mainly because of the way he does it. You showed him doing the Superman after a TD. No one has ever made a big deal of him doing that. If Cam only did the superman he probably wouldn't get hate.

Lutzie did a little jig after a huge play. Stanton is a nobody who doesn't play. No gives a shite about him.

The fact that Cam dancing is even discussed as a criticism should be proof enough that race is involved.

If any white QB were to do what Cam does, there wouldn't be any "He's a bad role model" or "TPOS" talk about them

I never said this was some egregious case of racism, just that it is what it is.

If someone argues "Hey, the game should be played stoically without celebration" I can respect that. Don't agree with it, but I respect the difference in opinion. That just isn't what people are doing, it is a huge double standard

Like I have now proven, YOU have no idea what the word even means.

It is not an emotion. Not a kneejerk reaction to anything...that is called prejudice or P-R-E-J-U-D-I-C-E. (Maybe, stereotype as well.)

Racism : The belief that one race is genetically superior to the other.

One could conceivably dislike every person of another race, AND STILL, they are not a racist.

I bet you are Pro Planned Parenthood. Do me a fave, and Google the founder. Look into WHY she started PP, and THEN tell me who is a racist.
