Honestly, firing Gus now does the following.

1. It sends a message to the fans that something is getting done. This increases overall donations and it would improve attendance for the remaining games. I know quite a few that are cancelling plans for the remainder of the season.

2. It sends a message to recruits that this shite-show might get better.

3. It sends a message to any coach out there that wants to be at Auburn to throw their hat in the ring. (Weak, I know. But it stays.)

4. It sends a message to CFB everywhere that Auburn doesn't tolerate mediocrity. Optics/image is incredibly important in this industry.

5. It gives us a *shot* at beating everyone except Bama. Right now, there is no chance we beat Georgia with Gus as HC. None. And beating Georgia could help us significantly with some recruiting battles.

6. Stidham may decide to leave if we keep this retard of a playcalling Coach. Why the heck are we running Wildcat and putting Stidham out at WR when he is one of the best QBs out there? He still needs the reps and Gus isn't fooling anybody with this BS.

Q.E.D. Fire Gus now. JJ can get *officially* get fired later, before the new coach is named.

I don’t see how either JJ or Malzahn survive this season. Not sure who I want as replacements.

Pruitt gets along with nobody. If you can’t get along with Mark Richt, you need mental help. Dude showed up at his house!
