Maybe I'm wrong and JF3 will turn out to be a championship caliber Qb....but i have serious doubts that will happen

I agree.

I just hope whoever starts progresses through the year because right now we're fricked.

My dad lives in Auburn, class of 56', and I told him last year Gus and Lashlee were not very good at developing QB's and he looked like he wanted to throw me out of the house.

I haven't commented on it again but I still feel the same. I also agree with you that they want JF3 to take over. I also agree he isn't there yet.

I expect SW to transfer out for next season.

If you're right then I won't blame him. Our depth be damned though.

All reports I've seen say JF has a cannon. So I'm gonna disagree with the part about not being able to stretch the field

early in the season NM, was terrible at throwing the football
Nick was inconsistent as a passer, but never "terrible".

I sincerely hope one of our current QBs is "terrible" enough to throw for 300+ yards and lead a last minute game winning 88-yard TD drive against an SEC opponent in his third game as a starter.

Has a Heisman winner ever transferred after his Heisman season before?

That would seem weird but we are Auburn so it wouldn't shock me.

Yea why should I be excited about a 4.3 guy having the ball every play in a dynamic offense?.....

Not as dynamic when teams are stacking the box because we can't throw

I shoulda said "potentially" dynamic offense haha

While I agree, if we have run threats all over the field, stacking the box won't help. And it's not like we won't be able to throw at all. I bet Johns passing is gonna surprise all of us at times

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he doesnt have good arm strength. He also has poor accuracy on deep balls as well. Not a good combination.

If he was accurate, he would have been named the starter by now.

How difficult is it to catch JF3?

Back in the spring, Adams recalled a couple of scrimmage situations when Franklin beat every defender to the edge before taking off downfield

I think it'll be Sean White, but I prefer John Franklin III.

I still think it will be JFIII. I think it always has been and that Gus has been making him compete his hardest with Sean.

To me, this is the most logical assumption one can come to with the evidence at our disposal.

Makes A LOT of sense after last season when the media and fans anointed JJ Heisman winner and be all end all of college football QBs.

Bingo. Trying to get him to work harder and harder everyday.
