Danjel will be reinstated to the team after he serves a suspension for 30% of next season (approx nine games).

All things considered, not terrible. Seems excessive to me but at least he can come back.

Are we the only ones that have been punished by the NCAA in this FBI shite?

That is great news. He is going to make us that much harder to defend and give us some much needed length on the perimeter.

I'm about to get way ahead of myself here but the thought of Wiley, Chuma, Danjel, Heron and Samir on the court at the same time gives me a woody.

So are Wiley and Purifoy coming back? Do we know yet?

Purifoy is about a 97% yes. Wiley and Heron we are still waiting for decisions on if they are entering the draft.

Good news but what’s the justification for him getting 9 more games than Wiley?

They probably ruled he had to sit out the same amount of games he participated in after being ineligible. So if he played 30 games illegally he must sit at least 30 games as penance.

Didn’t he already do that this year? He missed more games this year than he’s ever played in.

Two different things. DP talked direct to the agent/advisor while AW parents did.

The amount to of time he'll have missed will equate to 43 games which is approximately 43 more games than anyone served/punished for the rest of the scandal

Huge news. If Wiley comes back, watch out. Even if Wiley doesn’t come back then watch out.

There are a few other players that have sat out as well but your point still makes sense

Yeah that sucks, but we may be glad they sat out when all said and done.

No we won't. You're kidding yourself if you believe anything will actually come of it. Too many big name programs and big time players. NCAA has too much at stake themselves to punish anyone other than the Auburn's of the world in basketball

So not sure why you think we won't be happy we held them out

Did the other schools even go through the same process that we did? I don’t remember the NCAA making a ruling either way on most involved. If we had played them, we’re looking at vacating the SEC Title already.
