tl;dr: Jovon has the potential to be a monster running back but he has to get his work ethic straight.

This statement is confusing

What is confusing about it? It is stating that he obviously has great talent (which we all already know, hence the 5-star JUCO rating), but that he needs to put forth way more effort otherwise he'll never play up to his ability. You saw that this season when he came in out of shape.

Kennion looked really good. He is bigger than I thought. Needs to get bigger up top, but he has a great base. Andrew Williams was the biggest surprise. Whoever said he was stiff got some bad info. He his huge in his rear and legs, has a great first step. He looked good, real good. The other big surprise was Dontarious Russell. Huge rear and legs.

Golson is big. He is a legit 6'4" and 305. Taller and bigger base than Reece.

I don't really buy what he's saying about the running backs.

Jovon Robinson is said to be coming along slowly, but that's nothing unexpected. Even the coaching staff said they wanted to bring him along slow. Peyton Barber couldn't even get on the field THIS year, in hardly any capacity. How will he be the "guy" next year? I mean, it's possible, but unlikely in my eyes. Last, Racean Thomas not being big enough to shoulder the load? He's only going to get bigger after extensive workouts. I don't know, his info just seems off right there.

I see more of a committee next year, I know thats not Gus's MO, but Id love it to be closer to a rotation like Bama had this year before Drakes injury:
Roc=Yeldon
Jovon=Henry
Barber=Drake

Don't get too rustled over the guys comments. He admitted to being a big Barber fan and that is where some of his comments are coming from. So him being more critical of Jovon on makes sense.

No it's not. We kind of thought that would be the case this year. It didn't happen. Gus will figure out who his most complete back is.........and ride him, IMO.

I think it could be one hell of a competition next Spring/Fall to be THE guy @ RB. I really think JR gets it in gear though.

Our OL though...

Kozan probably doesn't start next season, IMO. I think it would be a win if he can even play football again.

I don't know that this guy is very reliable.

I was thinking the same thing. Jay Tate said Kozan likely wouldn't even be cleared for S&C till late spring at the earliest let alone contact

I agree Jonesy no way should anyone take much from his report on practice. Which is why I said people shouldn't be too rustled, or pumped for that matter.

Is this the case? I thought I remembered reading somewhere Lashlee said Kozan was way ahead of schedule. I hope, for his sake, this is true.

Don't understand how Gus has had really good things to say about Jovon yet the poster is stirring up work ethic concerns.

He may be ahead of schedule but back injuries are a bit different than any other injury. The process is long and filled with setbacks and frustration.

an article came out in the last month or a post was made basically saying that he couldn't have contact until August of next year and it was still 50/50 whether he would play again. His surgery that he had is no joke.

He didn't mention Braden Smith, who I think starts at some point next season.

Who is LB7 anyways? People on the bunker treat him like a god. He talks the talk but I know some of his info can be straight up wrong.

I have never had super legit connections but enough to know "Wait a second, that's not right.."

Poster admitted to being a Barber Uber fan. He was being hypercritical of Jovon because his expectation is for Barber and Roc to get the majority of the plays.
