Just saw the replay of that play on SEC Now. Pettway definitely grabbed his quad right away.
ETA I didn't notice that when it happened.

It was his left I believe. Didn't he hurt his right earlier in the season?

I hate to see this guy get hurt. His story this year has been nothing short of amazing. I hope it is not serious and his back soon, not just because I think he is so important to the team... his running is just so amazing to watch.

Upper left leg... They were working on it on the sidelines. Either a Quad, groin or even possibly something in the knee. Look like they were working on movement.

I know little about injuries.
Does this sound like something that might end a season?
I would hate that for him.

When Gus said, "He pulled something" it kinda was like that feeling right before you puke

Damn.
He was having a great year, I really hope it is not over for him.

According to Google, quad could be 10days-6weeks depending on severity.

Rest him up for Alabama. Maybe Auburn can beat Georgia without him.

At the risk of being full retard, I'd go full wildcat with KJ like Kentucky before playing JF3 again. Dude cant do it.

Dude, KJ was limping like a mofo last night. Everytime he ran the ball. I have a bad feeling that his high ankle sprain is still hurting. That is not a easy injury to get over.
I hope I am totally wrong but I do not feel good at all about this. Not going into UGA and Bama. These two games will make or break our year.

thats every year brah.
Going to have to bank on Sean and our other good players. Defense needs to play lights fricking OUT. That Eason kid is talented but can be rattled. he's not that mobile. Needs to get hit every play til he quits.

yea, if KJ or Kam can not go full speed, It will force me to go all in on Sean. And I am just not ready to do that yet.

Me either. Especially since they thought he was too banged up to practice. And honestly, we need a strong running game to give him the space to make good choices.

Sean has to be qb. Just having him taking the snaps opened up running lanes because of the pass threat.

Too early to melt.... I'm on a wilt.
We'll not know anything (not even insiders - watt n'siders) until Gus wants us to know. Lot's of lost points on last weeks game with Sean being banged up and no one let anything out of the bag. Them Vegas boys had to be licking their chops with some 25 odd points on the line and no one uttered a word. Would be hard for me to wager anything on a Gus team - short of a long shot preseason all or nothing bet.
So until someone hears from Doc Andrews it's all hearsay, conjecture, and ruse.
