Hard to say how this one in going to play out, they either have a chip on their shoulder about the loss and blow out Arky or they come out flat and hung over from the LSU game and proceed to lose.

I see it going one of three ways.
1. Team rallies, Gus allows changes and does not panic and try to retake reigns once changes are in place.

2. Team falls apart. Gus flails and has a Clemson game like last year, with erratic plays. Season tanks.

3. Team limps along on talent. Wins the games expected and then gets beaten badly by GA and not quite as badly by Bama (and one more stunning loss). Basically, the same pattern as the last few years.

I hope for 1.

I fear 3 is more likely.

It should be Auburn in a rout, but just as easily, Gus could cock-block the game into overtime.

I guess the question will boil down to this: how much more has Gus' head spiraled downward after the LSU game, compared to before it? I'm not sure I'm ready to know the answer to that.

I'll say Auburn wins, mostly out of blind loyalty. Beyond that, I promise nothing.

I wouldn't mind seeing Arkansas win just to seal the deal for Gus. We need to move on and hire a coach with an IQ above 5.

Auburn covers. We look good, and the tone of this board changes like it did after MS State.

Can't root against Auburn or hope Arkansas wins. Even if I could, Auburn is the better team.

Auburn 35-14

Lol no. If we look good it will simply reinforce that we a good team with an idiot for a coach who can’t get out of his own way.

The one constant about Gus is whipping that UPig arse. Even in his lobe loss to Bert, it was close at thier place. I see Gus rallying the troops for a blowout here

First time since as being a fan since 1991 that I am cheering for the opponent.
Sad and pathetic for anyone to pull against Auburn in anything, even if you believe it benefits the program somehow. I'd go one step further and call it sickening

thats because Gus sees Arky and Miss St as Auburn's rivals and is completely in over his head against UGA and bama

Eh, I wouldn't go that far.

It's been my experience that pulling for or against any team doesn't have any affect on the outcome. I will always pull for AU. In this particular case, I'll just let nature take its course as far as the outcomes are concerned.

I'm completely aware of this.

But the notion of a fan/alum/supporter etc. pulling against what they claim to love is absurd and should he treated as such

I don't think we lose, but I also don't think it'll be a blow out unless the players somehow don't tank on the season. 27-14 AU

Unless the players are giving up, we should still win easily. I think Gus goes shell a little, but less than he normally would considering the criticism.

38-17 in a game that isn't that close

And I thought I remember hearing Allen was hurt for Arkansas. If that's the case then I don't see much of a way for us to lose.

One of two options.

#1 Gus coaches like his hair is on fire and we beat them by 5 TD's. We win out until we lose to uga and bammer and he stays one more year as head coach.

#2 Gus continues his lame patterns and we barely beat the pigs. Then we lose to the aggies and uga and bammer and he is fired this year.

I am hoping for option #2.

I'm not sure why we think Gus doing his thing means we barely win or lose.

He did the same shite against Ole Miss, to a lesser extent, and we still won pretty easily.
