Other Interesting factoids to share about yourself: Former Navy, worked as a commercial contractor after service, wife was accepted as a grad student at AU, I chose to join her and finish my degree in building construction. I whitewater kayak, mountain bike, and backpack during my free time.
The wife and I plan on building LEED certified residential communities - homes all under 1000 sq/ft - powered with alternative energy and geothermal heating/cooling after graduation. It's not an environmental/political decision, but like the idea of downsizing your life and using energy sources that are readily available for no fee after construction. More space = accumulation of more junk + less time outdoors.

Never heard of it but I do have an awful lot of family from that area so it's possible. Both grandparents and my older sister are buried in the old cemetery in Bagdad.
