State isn't that good IMO. They will drop another game, possibly 2. The SEC can get 2 in the playoffs if this is our only loss. Our schedule this year is a fricking joke. To go undefeated this year was extremely unlikely.

Even if State wins out we are in as long as we win out too. We'll be 11-1 with the only loss being to an undefeated SEC champion and mostly like the #1 ranked team in the country. We still control our own destiny if you ask me. Now that being said, we still have one hell of a schedule to navigate and it won't be easy to do.

Best bet MSU goes undefeated. We get in no doubt in that case if we win out. If they drop 1 and win the tie breaker that might be a different story. I honestly think they drop 2 though.

They only have Bama and Ole Miss left to do it. With a possible sleeper game at UK. So it's possible for sure, but I'd say only 1 loss.

looks like I made the right choice. saw the shite show and figured while we might win, it would not be at all fun to watch.
btw some of yall need to get a fricking grip, refs and shite dont matter when you turn the ball over like we did in bad spots and cant run up the middle or consistently complete a pass.

Yup. I think they peaked (for the season already), if they're ranked like #2 going into Bama's stadium, I see them cracking from the intense pressure of expectations, since bama is usually the ones in their shoes.
Personally, when it comes to AU, I think we do better climbing up the ladder during the season. I've never enjoyed this being anointed #1 or #2 -during the regular season. When we play to win, it's w/a chip on our shoulders and a mad as hell mentality (find a way to win at any cost) attitude.
This is what separates the teams w/ entitlement issues vs the hungry as hell beasts on the field.
Hope we get good and hungry as we move up that ladder.

We didn't lose because the refs but don't underestimate how emotionally draining having 2 TDs and a 30 yd completion overturned because penaltie .

I said earlier this week our ability to play pitch and catch with the deep ball would define this game. I really expected to see JJ, I told my AU fan friends "expect to see JJ, he's built to cut up MSU"
was shocked he didnt come in. MSU run defense is extremely underrated, shocked we didn't try to exploit their secondary more than we did.

Doesn't change that the stack shouldn't be so high against us with inconsistent ref play . MSU beat us and deserve the W but refs need to be better
